This has a mild, minty taste; not too strong. After using a time or two, you'll figure out how much to use to get some nice foam. It doesn't take much. I love not having to squeeze a tube and try to get all of the goop out! Plus I think this bottle is more ecological than the tubes.

This is a great tooth powder (EcoDent tooth powder). It does not have glycerin in it. It does not contain fluoride. Pleasant taste and does a nice job cleaning teeth. I have found that it does not clump up and leaves a nice, effervescent-like feel in the mouth after brushing. I would recommend this product.

I have developed a sensitivity to an ingredient in "normal" toothpastes. I tried several different "unusual" brands before I found this one, the first tooth powder I've ever used -- and it does not burn my tongue or gums. Hooray! You will NOT like the taste of it at first - as it is soda based, it tastes very salty with a mild mint back. But after four days, I am now used to it. My mouth feels very fresh and clean. Give it a try. ( You can sprinkle it directly on your wet toothbrush, or sprinkle some in the palm of your hand and pick it up with a wet toothbrush. Easy. )

This stuff is the real deal, which is probably why your dentist doesn't sell it. They are trained to sell the fake stuff. This is as natural as it gets- you could swallow whatever is left in your mouth after you brush. This small bottle has enough toothpaste to last months because you need just a bit, unlike the inch-long strip of toothpaste your dentist tells you to use when you use the fake stuff. It cleans your teeth til they feel like they must have felt the day you were born- smooth, fresh, unsullied, no leftover gook like paste leaves you with. That's because it is effervescent. It bubbles slightly and instead of being abrasive, it just scrubs softly and firmly, the way you'd scrub a baby's skin. It's like homeopathy: gentle, but super powerful. This powder does not kill your taste buds and burn out your mouth like those nasty mint-flavored toothpastes. This has REAL mint. What a rarity! Worth every buck and more. You know how 'once you go black, you never go back'? Well, let's revise that. Once you go Eco-Dent, you never go back. I think what I just wrote would make a super customer endorsement for Eco-Dent if they ever advertise. But unlike most endorsements, this one is pure. Straight from the heart. Straight from my freshened mouth.

I like this powder. It doesn't have to best taste, but it's really not that bad. It does foam up while you're brushing. When I was using this every day I didn't think it was doing much for me. WELL, I stopped using it for a bit and then I realized it WAS doing plenty. It helped with my cavities and the pain they sometimes cause, the overall health of my mouth, and I'm sure much more. The only thing is that it seems this stuff doesn't help to whiten teeth ☹️ like at all. But I plan to start oil pulling again, so that should take care of it. Overall, this is a good choice and I will most likely be buying again.

This does a good job cleaning my teeth as well as freshening my breath. Easy to use at home and traveling.

I’ve switched to 10 different non-toxic dental products (paste) and cannot find anything that works as well or better than ecodent products. I didn’t like that this because it was a messy powder and also it became popular because it was in an elitist medicine cabinet. However it works so well and was quite frankly irritated with the negative reviews. Just because words are long, hard to pronounce, or you don’t understand them does not equal toxic ingredients. It’s clear by some previous posters that they didn’t take 10 seconds to research anything before they bashed it. Don’t fall for ignorance. Phosphorous is in your food and drinks and helps your bones. SMCT comes from coconuts and helps scrub your teeth clean without abrasions. Tastes great. I’ve learned to just sprinkle some on a tiny amount of non-toxic toothpaste. Nothing cleans better than this. Tastes & smells good too.
