Camille Beckman English Lavender Scented Silky Body Cream, Daily Moisturizer for All Skin Types | Non-Greasy Vegan Formula to Nourish and Soften Hands and Body, 13 Ounce

I received from a friend and I continue to re-order as it is non-greasy makes your skin very soft, very light scent and no lanolin and also comes in a cream for extremely dry skin. I sometimes use the cream on my feet through the winter, but I love how it makes my skin feel after a shower or bath.

I was looking for a nice vanilla-scented lotion, like the old discontinued St Ives, so I tried 5 recommendations. I know people perceive smells differently, but here’s what I found: 5) Victoria Secret Bare Vanilla – horrible! Nasty perfume smell, and really strong, too. I would be embarrassed to go to work after using this; don’t want to be “that” woman that reeks of perfume in the elevator. Actually threw it away. 4) Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar – also disappointing, the light vanilla scent is overwhelmed by a chemical perfume smell. It’s also the runniest of the bunch. 3) Hempz Toasted Vanilla Caramel – definitely more toasted caramel than vanilla. It’s a really REALLY sweet smell and very strong, but it wears off as it’s absorbed. Not quite what I wanted but I could picture some people liking it, as long as you know what to expect. 2) EOS Vanilla Cashmere – finally a real vanilla smell. There is a warm, earthy undertone (no idea what cashmere is supposed to smell like), but it works. Strong scent, wears off slowly. Also a nice body lotion. Keeper. 1) Camille Beckman French Vanilla – wonderful, smells like vanilla pudding and nothing else. The smell is not as strong as I hoped, but it’s also a nice lotion, not as oily as EOS. Best in class, but very pricy.

Very good body cream, especially for those ,like myself, with hyper keratosis. Smells wonderful. Moisturizes really well.

I love this already after being halfway through one bottle. The hydration is amazing. Even after I wash my hands, my hands didn’t feel super dry (compared to B&BW lotions that wash off easily.) It is not greasy and gross either. It smells great, but it is somewhat subtle, so if you are looking for something to replace perfume too, I don’t recommend it. I’m not gluten-free but my (Celiacs) co-worker who I share it with sometimes loves that it is and that it is so creamy too! I love it! I will definitely buy it again for my body & hand lotion. EDIT: after buying this so many times on Amazon without issue, I got one that was subpar. First I noticed something was off because I could see water on top (never happened before) then I stirred it with the pump tube hoping it was just a one-time weird separation, but then it smelled different once I got into it. Not terrible but not right, not the perfect smell from before. I’m still using it up. I will bite the bullet and be ordering it direct from the company’s website from now on to see if that helps. Will update here when I get the chance to try a new one. I only took off one star because I think the product is still good from the company but I think (hope) something has just gone wrong here at Amazon, as usual. TL;DR: This was great on here, now its not. I’ll be buying directly from the company instead.

I love this body cream. It makes your skin so smooth but not greasy. I have been using it for years.

This is the best cream. It doesn’t feel heavy or too thick on your skin. It’s just very nice.

Conosco da anni la qualità dei prodotti Camille Beckmann che sono un must negli USA, purtroppp pressoché irreperibili in Italia. Questa crema ha un’ ottima texture, profumo gradevolissimo, nutre ma non unge, assorbe subito, il prezzo è più che competitivo e spero sia l’inizio della commercializzazione più capillare di questo prodotti in Italia. Straconsigliata!!!
