It REALLY works
Amazing cleans my cast iron cooking pots in a jif. Told everyone about it. Wish I had got one when I purchased my cast iron.

Decent quality
The rings are just crimped together, not welded. This means the joins aren't as sharp as a welded one but many aren't perfectly aligned, so I had to spend a while straightening them out with some pliers so that there aren't any sharp edges to scratch my seasoning too much. Other than that, it's made of decent steel and removes food residue well without scratching seasoning too much. It's plenty big enough for most purposes.

Restored a thrifted pan
This proved an excellent tool for shifting lots of old burned material from a nice cast iron pan I got from a charity shop for a few quid. Nothing else I tried could get any of the material off, but some vigorous scrubbing with this made a world of difference. Now that old pan is one of my favourites. Definitely worth the money if you have cast ironware.

If Knights of the Realm cleaned pans
I bought this to clean a Lodge cast iron skillet and saw it being used in a YT video on how to maintain it. I’d never heard of using chainmail to clean before. And it’s great! Doesn’t damage the surface which was my first concern, but with just water for the majority of time I use it, it only needs to be pressed in quite gently to shift all dirt. Very occasionally if the pan has really stubborn build up I use a tiny bit of detergent (the scandal). But it’s so easy to prep the pan again so it’s no bother. Overall very easy to recommend.

Candure Cast Iron Cleaner Stainless Steel Scourer
I think the rings are too big to be as effective as it could be. It works to a degree, but if you have a ridged/ribbed pan where the bumps are fairly deep, the rings of the scourer are a bit too big for cleaning inbetween the ridges, if that makes sense. I thought this would be better than using a wire scourer, but i'm not so sure now. I guess it could last longer since the metal is thicker than your standard wire scrubber. Also, it dosent scrath your fingers like some wire scourers can, which is good. I may try another chainmail scrubber with smaller rings before going back to the wire types first though. So I'd probably recommend you do the same if its for a pan with ridges. Works fine on a flat cast iron pan, though I still prefer wire there again.
