Fits Generic Home Depot 5-Gallons like a Boss!!
These things are sturdy as hell, and fit super-snug on my $2 Home Depot 5-gallon Buckets. I also drilled into them to run hoses for my hydroponic system ... no problems at all, couldn't be happier with these lids. The one issue (and it's really not even an issue) is maybe the price. $9.99 vs other online sellers for $3.99 .... but do the math. $9.99 with no shipping cost or $3.99 and $10.00 shipping. To be fair, you can go to your local Hydroponic store and buy these lids for $5.99 ... but I've never in my life ever seen a hydroponic store close by, so when you figure gas and time spent plus $5.99 .... My point is, these lids rock, and at $9.99 and free shipping ... two thumbs up. GG.

Perfect fitment
I’ve been using lids with holes cut into them and 6” basket. I decided to buy these because I like to check on the roots. With these you lift right up. With the lids they snap in and hard to lift up and not hurt the plant in process. With these they lift right up no problem.

It fit my bucket but took a bit of elbow grease
The reviews stating that these lids are too small are probably correct. I was angry and never thought this lid would fit a white food safe 5 gallon bucket from Lowe's. I was contemplating returning it. I finally got it to snap on the lid tight enough whereas I am happy with the result. I also let it sit out in the blazing sun for a few hours and then brought it indoors to cool down and maybe conform to the bucket. It seems to have worked although having to lift it off to check the root development will be tricky if at all possible. I previously bought a lid like this from Viagrow and had much better results with the fit. I suppose the quality control is up to whomever is making these things. No matter who makes them they all have one thing in common...they're all overpriced.

I used a good quality white plastic spray paint on the top and ...
I used a good quality white plastic spray paint on the top and rim top sides, to reflect light to the underside of the plant, confuse the insects and to help keep the sun's heat out of the bucket. Once transplanted with my seedlings started indoors in A-OK Rockwool cubes, and filled around them with GROWSTONES, which work fantastic in these cups, I covererd the tops of the net cups with aluminum foil taped down-helps with moisture transpiring through the top stones and also prevents any sun from causing algae on the top of the stones in the cup. I drilled 3 holes in the top of this net cup and stuck the 3 long legs of a typical 3 ring tomato cage through the holes. The legs just reached to sit on the bottom of the 5 gallon bucket. Throughout the season this was a sturdy enough cage system, to hold first a netting cover and later 3 foot eggplants and 2 foot peppers- fully loaded. See photos attached (blue tape holds down the aluminum foil). The cages and plants didn't warp these net cups, nor did lifting the covers/cups while tilting the full size plant, to add solution every few days near the end of the season At the end of this season, the emptied net cups were easy to empty, wash, rinse in Clorox water and stacked away for next year. The paint looks brand new as do the net cups- they are very well made and ver much worth the price.

Hydroponics
I bought this after seeing a YouTube video using it for hydroponics. The basket is really well made and sturdy and will work great for my needs. Fits perfectly in my five gallon bucket. Will be buying more.

Science!
Feels a little pricy for a chunk of plastic, part of that is shipping so probably it is better to buy multiple if you know what youre doing and know youll need several. For my experiment / mythbusters esque attempt at making a youtube video, just one will be sufficient. I will be comparing lettuce grown in soil vs grown in hydro which probably would be podium worthy science-fair material if i had done this back in highschool. If i get some views i probably will pick up some more of these and a few more cheap buckets to try a variety of veggies since it was easy to set up. Fits a home depot bucket ( needs some coaxing as it fit more tightly than expected )

I was going to return this net cup because it didn't fit my Home Depot or Canadian Tire buckets. Then I tried it on my one and only Lowes 5g bucket and it fits perfectly.

This is highly overpriced, 4-6 times overpriced. You can find this on Amazon for 4 dollars each as I just have. With that said the product itself is very good.
