Not used for intended purpose but they work great for me.

I bought these to use with heavy duty lifting straps I use with my tractor. Both are overkill for the weights I lift. I was impressed with these shackles since they seem to be really good quality SS fit and finish for the price.

I use these to put on my Yamaha lumber racks on my truck/shell to hook my ratchet straps to for tie downs when hauling anything. They fit on the round racks perfectly

Use these to lift the double 2x8x16 sideboards off my trailer. They straddle a 2x board just fine. I was surprised at the finish of these. They appear to have been tumbled or something after manufacture. Shiny appearance, no sharp edges at all, almost look polished. the screw part threads in and out with no resistance at all. Just have to wait and see how they survive being outside all the time.

Order the 2 pack of 5/16”. Although the packaging card they were attached to, said 5/16” they where only 1/4”. Unless to me.
