Quality
These are great wicking cords that I use while I'm on vacation, If you get the thick one it really pulls the water so be careful not to over water your plants

Worked like a charm
This watering wick cord worked like a charm!!! We were leaving for vacation, and I spent the time to insert the wicks in each plant. Came home and all the plants where I inserted the wicks and had plenty of water looked amazing!!! The ones I didn't have time, screamed " ME NEXT for watering wicks!!"So will make sure all plants have watering wicks for next time we are gone!! This stuff is the real deal and great way to baby-sit your plants while you are away!!

Works as advertised.
cheap, needs trial and error for correct watering amount, but does wick water well

Worked perfectly
We went on a 2 week vacation and just purchased herbs. I used large plastic coffee containers and a wire basket. The rope was in the container > through the wire basket > into the bottom of the herb containers. We came home to a healthy window box full of herbs.

Not the best for outdoor use
I attempted to use this outdoors to water my plants while away and it’s just too hot to work outside right now. I can tell the cord normally would hold water but in 100 degree weather it only holds water about a foot from the water source then the rest of the cord dries out. I even soaked the cord prior to trying it. Maybe someone might have better luck wrapping the cord in aluminum foil? I can definitely see this working indoors or in a self watering planter from right below the plant.
