I've grown a few crops of these, in both Aerogarden and other brand hydroponic setups. They are easy enough to start and keep happy, and a pretty awesome snack to just snap a leaf off when you walk by them. Unfortunately, as with all seed products, a few will inevitably fail to grow. Maybe out of 12 pods, 1 or 2 will nearly always fail. Statistically, this isn't bad, and I'm still happy with the purchases. The part that irritates me is that they have a "guarantee" when using an Aerogarden machine, but over the past year they have never once replaced any pods or even replied with further steps.

This is my second time using aero garden pods and they work great! The first time was using the herb variety kit but honestly the herbs grew too fast and I wasn’t using them enough in my regular cooking so I decided to try out the romaine lettuce pack. It’s been working great! All 6 seed pods germinated and every time I cut the lettuce, more grow bigger and stronger. I live in a hot climate and can’t grow romaine outside for most of the year, so having the ability to grow it so easily inside is great! Just remember to provide the plant food and refill the base with water when prompted and you can’t go wrong!

4 of the 6 pods didn’t germinate, a refund was requested and I sent back the ones that didn’t grow. The company was great to deal with and sent another set of pods. I have had really good luck with this product and the lettuce tastes great! I have the garden in my office and 4 coworkers have purchased the Aero Garden because of the results I have had with mine! Love it!

One month in and I have big, leafy lettuce. Very pleased.

I have purchased several different Aerogarden kits, (mostly salad greens) and have always had poor germination with only 1-4 pods producing anything. This last purchase, only 1 of the 6 pods germinated. I have purchased bulk pods and germinated them with seed I know to be good and have been more successful than the pods purchased online.

The Aerogarden is a wonderful small-scale hydroponic system, but with diminishing returns. I purchased a 6-pod system in Dec. 2023 along with 2 packages of 6 grow-pods (lettuce variety and herbs) for Winter growing. A couple of the pods I could have done without, but you get a decent selection for not being allowed to choose exactly what you want within a pod kit (Idk who would use the Asian Basil - odd flavor I had never heard of). I completed the Easy-to-follow instructions for setup and maintenance, and kept up the recommended cleaning regimen All went well initially with about 4 or 5 out of 6 pods sprouting & producing over the course of several months (I never planted 6 at once to avoid over-crowding). After having exhausted the original 2 kits, I cleaned the system completely and let it set dry over the Summer. I ordered two 6-pod kits in October preparing for my mini Winter garden... ONLY 2 pods SPROUTED, w/4 failing to sprout. I am growing 2 expensive lettuces which are doing pretty well... I have a feeling the 2nd kit I ordered will have similar results. I have added my own seeds to a couple of the "duds" and they have sprouted, so the problem does NOT lie with me. I don't know how many re-uses I'll get from the grow pods, but will go this route in future. I was willing to accept a 66 to 80% success rate with purchasing these pods, which is why I ordered again, but not worth the $$ for the 33% success rate of this re-order! Disappointing.

Love my new aero garden! All of the pods are easy to use and they grow quickly.

I ordered these pods end of July. I planted 3 and only 2 germinated. I contacted Amazon and did not receive a reply. I subsequently planted another pod which again did not germinate. I will never order these again. I was of the understanding that if they did not germinate they would be replaced and haven't been

I bought the product in the USA, used distilled water annd the enclosed fertilizer. After waiting 3 months with nothing sprouting, I purchased new seed pods in India and again none of the seeds sprouted. Very disappointed

This mix was great - everything grew, and the lettuces quickly got big enough to use in salads. The only drawback for me was that the pods were all labelled the same, even though they contained different varieties of greens. I didn't know what each was. Still a good Aerogarden experience.
