Out of the box was pretty good. Unfortunately for me they are a half size too long and 8.5 is not available. The ankle support is great. Solid sneaker amd support. Good grip too

Great shoe and the price just adds to appeal. I cannot spend the big money on shoes like a lot of other people can these days and plus the big names companies just don't make a great shoe anymore. Nothing will ever compare to the Jordan 5's but these shoes are great. I have since bought another pair, I use1 for Basketball and 1 for Volleyball and I will be buying another set for wearing casually. They are light weight, they breathe well with the fabric but still have good support, laces are great and do not slip and after scuffing the soles up a bit ( i used a wire brush ) they stick to the floor really well.

First though I need to give QUICK background so you can gauge whether your purpose for the shoe matches mine.BackgroundI bought these to play basketball. I usually wear Adidas Damian Lillard branded shoes "Go Weber State", but the funds weren't there this time around. I ONLY play basketball in these, but I did wear them around for about 5 hours on the first day to break them in before playing.PROS- The quality is quite nice. They do not feel cheap.- The look is spot on. I received a lot of compliments from those I play ball with and strangers.- The price is fair.- They provide a lot of support at the ankle.- They tie up nicely with as firm feel, without cutting off circulation.- I wear a size 10 and I ordered a size 10 and they fit like a size 10.CONS- The cushioning is not that great. They feel a little hard when first worn and I will likely buy an insole for them.- The sole was not very tacky on the court during the first wear. I actually had to go rub the sole of the show on the carpet for a minute to make them grip a little better. They may have had some kind of film or something on them that needed to wear down a bit. They began to grip better after that.- They are not heavy shoes, but they are not as light as some other reviews have suggested. Average weight for a pair of basketball shoes.Overall SummaryThese are good shoes. If my normal Adidas shoes were 5-stars (which is what I am comparing them against), then these are a solid 4. Because of price, I would rank them a 4.5, but that isn't an option for this review. That rating may seem unfair, but I think if you play basketball then you will know what I am talking about. If you just want to wear these around as a good looking pair of sneakers, then they are 5 stars. Anyway, I think you will like these shoes and I may love them after I get an insole for them... which will still be about 1/2 of what I would have spent on the newer Dame 7s I like.

As a lifelong Nike/Jordan wearer, I was hesitant to purchase a non-Nike brand to play ball in. However, since moving next to an outdoor court, I've burned through my high dollar Jordan Brand kicks and was looking for a low cost alternative. I found these, read the reviews, and took a chance. After all, free returns.I just received these today and I can say I'm very impressed. I normally wear a 10.5, but opted for the 10 as I know Nike's run a little smaller. They fit perfectly! Out of the box I'll enumerate each feature then update after I've played in them:Toe box: Plenty of room to wiggle the toes and seems breathableArch: Comfortable arch, not too high, not too lowHeel: Cushioned and cups the heel nicelyInsole: Lightly cushioned, which explains the bad review on cushioning. However, I wear Spenco insoles in all my ballin' shoes so it's no issue for me.Lateral support: Just cutting left to right on my tile flooring seems stable, but I'll update once I take to the court.Lacing: It's a secure fit and the laces seem to come across the instep at the right spots. The lacing into the mid-top/ankle keep it snug, but I will update again once I play in them.Outsole: Feels like a thick, hard rubber compound for playing on outdoor courts (duh). I'll update with traction/grip once they're played in.Last but not least, appearance: Well you guys see the pictures. They are nice! I purchased the Grey/White model which is a very clean look. The two pair of lace tabs have a strip reflective material, which is a nice addition. The upper material is a mesh design over what reminds me of Nike's Flyknit, wrapped with a seemingly durable synthetic rubber. The mid-sole is bold but shaped nicely to give it a cushioned, aerodynamic look.Like I mentioned before, I will update my review with actually playing experience in a competitive environment at first chance. The one cringe-worthy issue I have with them so far is that they're a Chinese company and I hate to give US money to the Chi-comms.I hope this review helps many of you decide.

My son struggles with finding the right shoes. We purchase a lot to get the right comfort. I ordered these and he really likes them. The comfort and the ankle support.

I play basketball with these shoes. These shoes look sooooo good. I’m going to buy more pairs from the same brand when on sale. These shoes have great ankle support. They also look very durable because after a week of playing ball, they look unused.The only downside is that I needed to buy soles. But once I bought some sport soles, the shoes felt great.

The shoe is very comfortable and durable. The price is excellent for the quality you get. Better than some of the much higher priced shoes.
