Q: are they ptfe free as well?

It is not ptfe free. Just copied the following from thecookwareadvisor.com/rachael-ray-hard-anodized. It says 'the nonstick release is provided by the top layer which is PTFE (Teflon is the DuPont brand name for this material)'.

Q: Can you use in dishwasher?

I have had this set for 14 years. They still look amazing. We don’t put them in the dishwasher and seem to have gotten a ton more life out of this set than the reviews reflect.

Q: After 1 use on a gas stove the finish is rubbing off. Anyo e ekse experience this?

Mine have not been in the dishwasher and they're scratched on the bottom already...not even two months old. They are very slippery on the burners and I've had them slide on their own. Someone else Comme Ted on how they wish they still had the box and could return them, because I feel like they're dangerous, even if you're the only around the stove.
