Worth every penny.
I've owned a bunch of stud finders over the years and honestly, most of them were junk. They'd sort of work sometimes, but it was always a guessing game. This Franklin Sensors ProSensor 710+ is on a whole different level. The 13 sensors and all the LED lights show you exactly where the stud is - no guesswork, no trial and error. It's fast, accurate, and just works. I'm not a contractor or anything, just a regular DIY home guy, but this thing feels like pro-level gear. Worth every penny.

💯 accuracy
This is the best studd finder, I've ever used. First when I received I was quite skeptical. I would mark the spot on the wall and test it with a nail. I was accurate 100%. I highly recommend this one it makes my work very easy.

Best Stud Finder I've Ever Owned
Best stud finder I've ever owned. And I'm an old guy, in my 70s, who has owned quite a few, considering I worked in remodeling, construction of homes, along with doing work in our own home for decades. Yes, it costs more than many of them do, but it could not be easier to use or more accurate. Easy operation. Easy to hold and read. Very fast at finding things behind walls. Excellent light sensors. Great build quality --- and, yes, its main body is plastic, but so is almost 90% of every car and truck interior these days, and a lot of clothing people wear. It's quality plastic.

Super Easy to use! Quick, Accurate. Expensive.
I love this tool! It's like stud finder for dummies. So easy, with a level. Just push a button and see if there is something behind the wall. I used it to measure and install shelving on my own and hit the stud perfectly every time. Saved me major hassle. I ordered a digital one initially and could not for the life of me figure out how to use it. This one is just pop batteries in and go. I'm not sure why it is so expensive, but happy to pay for the ease of use. The digital ones are cheaper, but the convenience is worth it. Only reason it is a four star review is because price is a bit high

easy to remove batteries
Love this stud finder, most accurate and easy to use I've ever had, ... what first got my attention about the Franklin was how easy it is to remove the batteries, ... I needed a new one because my old stud finder used 9v battery which had corroded and eat up the small wires to the battery connector, and since I had to go find a small screwdriver every time to remove the cover, I didn't discover that problem until it was too late, ... the Franklin batteries(two AA's) are in the handle and can be removed or installed in five seconds, so removing them after use should prevent that problem from ever happening again, ... love that feature, ... another thing I've discovered about the Franklin is, yes you get the three lights, BUT you can move it about 3/8" before it drops one light and picks up the next light to continue to show three lights, ... if when you have the three lights, you SLOWLY move it in either direction, you can get a position where four lights will shine with the two edge lights blinking off and on, ... when you have that, you know those two blinking lights are showing the very edges of the stud and the true center of the stud is dead center between the two solid lights, ... some may consider that "overkill" and a waste of time(it only takes a few seconds to do that), but at least you know about that trick now, ... oh yeah, just like one other review suggested, with a fine pointed Sharpie I colored in the lines and numbers on the ruler, IMO that dresses it up and adds a finishing touch to an already great tool, ...

Great stud finder
Works much better than traditional stud finders plus quicker to establish width. Initially thought it was defective but my ceiling trusses were in a different orientation than I thought.
