Holy crud, buyers beware. Amazon really should separate the two different models of shirts as they really shouldn't share the same reviews because they are two different shirts altogether. I was certainly duped into thinking the same set of shirts were cheaper than when I had bought them before. Boy was I wrong because the price differences really did depict the quality of the shirts.What I bought originally (Model: 7880W6) List price=$39: Hanes Men's 6 Pack Ultimate FreshIQ V-Neck Tee, White, Large These were great undershirts. They lasted me 2+ years and still going strong wash after wash. (These did not shrink after first wash and dry). These are the shirts that the good reviews are referring to.What I bought recently (Model: 777VP6) List price=$14.98: Hanes Men's 6-Pack FreshIQ V-Neck T-Shirt, White, Large I bought this 6-pack thinking that they were the same ones I bought before but after receiving them, they were not. I could tell instantly after opening the package that they were really thin. After washing and drying them once, the shirts shrunk a size or two. I dried them in very low heat. Length of the shirt was shorter than how it was out of the package by about 3 inches. This was appalling and I was very disappointed. I'm not sure how long these are going to last me but we'll see.So there you have it. The different prices in this case really depicts the quality difference in each product. If you want the thick cotton undershirts that won't shrink after the first wash and dry, buy the model 7880W6. These are what the good reviews are raving about on this product's page. All of the negative reviews, from what I've read so far, are for the model 777VP6; which is notably cheaper in price than the 7880W6's.Hopefully this will help others in choosing the right set of shirts.Additional info:I have bought both sets of shirts in white and large size.

I tried these on as soon as they arrived and thought they were wonderful. Soft. Nice fit. Definitely long enough. Then, one wash, and boom, they're almost unwearable. They must've shrunk two sizes, especially in length. Now they barely reach to my waist. The search for a decent undershirt continues...

I bought these a while back. The fit was right for me. I use them as intended, undershirts to be wore under a shirt. I like the V necks because you don't have your undershirt peeking out of the neck of your regular shirt. Anyway, while I was in Wal-Mart today I found an 8-pack of the exact same undershirts for $15.00.

These suck. There collar shrinks so much that the shirt wrinkles up around the collar. And I only dried on low heat even though instructions say medium heat is ok. Stretching collar by hand eventually rips the collar at the V

It's cotton underwear -- what do you expect? They're a bit large out of the package, but they shrink in the wash. Nice and soft, and with no tags, they feel like they're barely there. Expect 50-75 wearings per undershirt, after which they make great rags. The 6 pack was a great value when I bought it.12/9/2016: Now that I've had these undershirts for over half a year and plenty of washings, I've come to the conclusion that my original review was somewhat in error. There are several issues that I have with them:1. The listing claims that these undershirts are pre-shrunk. That's as may be, but it didn't stop them from shrinking even more when laundered, to the point that now they feel too snug and don't drape low enough on me.2.I bought these undershirts in the springtime, when the weather was still a bit chilly. As the days got warmer, I came to realize that these undershirts are too thick and warm for summer comfort. The shrinking, which also caused the material to seem even thicker, exacerbates the problem.3. I buy V-neck undershirts for a reason: I don't like to see undershirt peeking out of the open collar buttons of my shirts. These undershirts have shrunk so much that they do just that.As a result, I am no longer recommending these undershirts. If you decide to buy them anyway, consider buying them a size larger than you normally would.

Very thin, shrunk up. Would not order them again.I have ordered other that did not shrink up so bad and stayed long, enabling you to tuck them in.

I have ordered this exact pack of shirts from the same listing on Amazon 5 times over the last 5 years, this 5th time the shirts were a different country of origin and much lower quality. They have the exact same model number and size printed inside as the ones I purchased one month ago, however the printing is different and the quality is much worse. The shirts are shorter than my other ones so they won't stay tucked and the material is nowhere close to the same softness.

I have been buying these shirts for years to wear around the house because they are so comfortable. This particular package is *very* poorly made, the worst quality I've seen yet. They are about 5 inches longer than my previous ones and the material is about half as thick, very thin and see through, and the neck is outrageously huge. Not cool.I also bought a package of three black ones, exact same size. They are better as the neck is appropriately sized and the length is correct, like it usually is when I buy these shirts. Material is a little on the thin side but I will deal with it. I was hoping to wear these out but they are a little too see through.Very disappointed in this purchase.It would be nice if someone could tell me which ones of the XL V-neck shirts are the good quality ones so I know which ones to buy. The last ones I got, some months ago, were the thickest ones I've bought and these are by far the worst I've ever bought, very poor quality. How do you tell the difference?

If you want to feel 'open' around the neck with no 'riding up' or rubbing across the front of your neck, then these may be ideal. There is no cutting in under the armpits because the armholes are bigger and not close fitting which allows better ventilation.I think they are perfectly comfortable in every way.Make sure ,to be on the safe side to machine wash at only 40 degrees.

These are great undershirts. I wear these under my work shirts everyday and they are comfortable to wear. I like the v-neck collar as it means on the days I'm not wearing a tie, I can leave the top button of my shirt unbuttoned and people can't tell I'm wearing an undershirt. The sizing on these shirts were exactly as expected.

I’ve ordered these t-shirts for the second time as they were great. However the second delivery was of completely different t-shirts than the first time. Really disappointing.
