I purchase alot of Nature Made supplements and as usual am pleased with the product. I normally have to ingest 3 pills to attain my preferred dose but was fortunate to find this product with my dose using 1 pill. Biotin is a terrific product that promotes my hair and nail growth and strength.

My nails were always peeling and breaking really easily until I started using this regularly. I now rarely have issues with them. They are stronger and grow faster. I think it took a while for my nails to improve because the biotin can't really affect what's already grown, just the part that's growing when you take it. That's my theory anyway. My hair has been growing much faster too and I notice much less breakage on the top of my head so I think my hair is stronger too. I was hoping for an improvement in thickness and regrowth in parts that seem a little thinner than they used to be but I haven't seen that. The only downside is I have to get my hair cut and my nails done more frequently!

I believe this product has helped my hair become a little thicker. The pills are really small so they are easy to take. I would recommend trying this product if thinning hair is your issue. The price is right and I believe it's working.

Have been taking Biotin for several months now, in hopes that it helps to improve my fingernails. I have brittle nails. I believe it's due to my Hypothyroidism. I have tried lotions, nail polish strengtheners, and even eaten jello, as I've heard this helps to strengthen nails. But did not work for me. But Biotin seems to be helping so far, like I said it's been a few months of taking this, but with no results, until just recently. I guess it takes time to show positive results. So far now, my thumb nails are growing in stronger. But the other 8 fingernails still are thin and brittle. Hopefully soon the other 8 follow my thumbs. I am wondering if I should be taking this product in conjunction with another supplement, in order to help get results, as is the case with many vitamin supplements?? And although I don't take this for my hair, I must say, this product has made my hair grow out more softer and manageable. P.S. I will update review if there's a change in condition of my nails as time goes on. Update.. March 30, 2018.... I am still taking Biotin, but with slow results, as my nails continued to split upon new growth. I have added a Multivitamin to my daily supplement regime, but still continue taking Biotin as well. After only one month of the addition, my nails are finally coming in healthy! For me, it took a year of taking Biotin (and lately with multivitamin) to finally see results, and grow healthy nails!

I ordered this time the Biotin Extra strength 2500 MCG as my hair starting thinning and this is very for strenthing and also for skin too. I trust Nature Made brand I wish they still made and sold their Mega 2000 vitimins.
