Like the other reviews on this product, power cord is short. No problem. I use an extension cord for it and the monitor works like a charm. Removing the batteries completely deletes the data but I always write down my readings anyway. I frown on batteries and I don't want to ruin my new expensive Omron monitor because of leakage. This power adaptor will save you money on battery purchases and will also save your monitor from battery damage.

Works great with my monitor. I don't understand why the adapter doesn't come with the monitor, as it goes through batteries pretty quickly. The adapter gives me the peace of mind that my monitor is going to work, every time. As other reviewers mention, the cord is inexplicably short for something that is meant to be used at a table. Triple the length, and it will be perfect.

I have an OMRON 5 as identified by the Omron Co and I’m sorry to report….this adapter doesn’t fit. I’ve given it 3 stars in that perhaps it was I who made a mistake that perhaps my Omron BP unit is an earlier version of a 5 series. Anyway, for me, it’s back to using batteries which I was hoping to eliminate along with the eventuality of getting caught with weak, non-working batteries when I need this monitor most. So if you choose this adapter, please make sure it is compatible to your unit Especially if it’s older prior purchase as the low price doesn’t justify buying something incompatible.

I made this purchase to try and save on battery life. As my blood pressure machine is normally at home, I felt this would be a little bit more environmental. I would recommend the seller. My order was processed quickly. Properly packaged and arrived on time. working and without any problems.
