hi there, yes this trimmer has 3 power settings meaning the third highest speed is perfect for thick curly hair! And as this also included scissors we would recommend cutting your hair with these first if your hair is extremely thick :). hope this helps!

How wide is the cutting head of the clipper?

Which setting on the clipper gives the shorter cut? Does sliding it upwards make it shorter (i.e 4mm) or does it make it the longer cut (6mm)?confused
