Bought to sprout for chickens, but they don't
I have used a series of 8 glass jars to sprout sunflower seeds for my chickens on the counter for 10 years. My previous brand of black oil sunflowers were replaced with, "Guaranteed NOT to sprout in your Garden seeds." Bought these thinking they would sprout. They are even worse. The picture is after 8 days of being rinsed twice a day. Previously, the sprouts would be crowding through the top. Truly disappointed.

Lots of dust and debris - chemical small.
The bag was filled with other debris, can tell mixed in with a lot of other stuff. The dust was terrible and it had a very interesting smell. I bought for my horses, and I’m not sure I even want to feed it to them. I tried to wash it but the random debris still makes me nervous.

great but over priced
I feed this to my horses it great for there digestive system and helps with there coat however Tractor supply has it for under $30.00 it has a few more sticks in it but for the $45.00 difference am going to buy from tractor supply again

Rancid & debris ridden
Upon inspection, I found a considerable amount of this spongy debris. Furthermore, despite my repeated attempts at clean rinsing with hydrogen peroxide, the rancid smell and mold continue. Buyer beware!

Contains peanuts and soy
Allergy families beware. Not pure sunflower seeds. Contains dried soy beans and peanut shell fragments throughout the whole bag.

Colorado birds won't touch it
I tried these in lieu of my normal Black Oil Sunflower Seeds, and it seems to have scared my birds away. Might be good for other parts of the country, but the birds in Colorado won't eat this stuff.

Affordable bird food
The cardinals and blue jays that come are amazing, they love this!!

Good Quality Product, but Packaging Could Use Some Improvement
Product arrived as described and looks fine. The only issue was that the bag had a cut in it, and a good portion of the seeds spilled in and out of the box during shipping. It seems like it happened in transit, but overall the product quality is good and I’m happy with the purchase.
