Dont listen to that guy
I see the guy posting videos to all these Zelda replica ocarinas giving them bad reviews. Here is the knitty gritty.. He is an experienced player of Ocarinas. Of course novelty items like this are beneath him. If you want a master crafted musical instrument, don't buy a cheap novelty item. But still this novelty will impress you... Mine came very well packaged. He states his came in an envelope. Mine came like this: The ocarina was in a small decorated box filled with form fitted Styrofoam protecting the ocarina, and this box was inside a slightly bigger box filled with a lot of bubble wrap. This thing wouldn't break if it was thrown off a cliff. Next the quality. This ocarina is gorgeous. Simply beautiful. The sheen on the finish is awesome. And contrary to what has been said mine was in impressive tune. Sure not perfect, but this is a NOVELTY PIECE. You get what you pay for, and I think in this case you get a little more. Im sure you will look up the fingering to Zeldas Lullaby, learn to play it, and be impressed. Its not a master crafted instrument. It is a novelty item. And I am more than happy with what I bought. It was a valentines day gift for my wife who is obsessed with Zelda and she loves it!

Very pretty
It's beautiful. It arrived late, but it was worth it. It looks exactly like the picture and mine came with a box that pictured it and Link playing it along with a songbook, and a cord to string it. It's a christmas gift so I can't say how it sounds, but I'll try to remember to update this. It's pretty enough and was cheap enough that I'm fine with it just being a show piece if he doesn't like the sound. My pictures don't do it justice. (The pen is to give an idea of the size.) Update: According to him it sounds like a recorder, but he hasn't tried much since he doesn't want to get saliva into it and let it get gross. (Would likely be difficult to clean as the inside is a raw white ceramic not finished like outside.) He was thrilled with the way it looks and that it's such high quality. It has a nice heft too since it isn't plastic. One of his favorite gifts this year.

Excellent Product
So it's in great shape, and plays well. You just have to learn to channel your air to make it sound more in tune. It's fairly easy to play and well worth the money. I started playing music in 2006 when I was 12 years old I joined band, and I am 20 years old now. I know how to play multiple instruments, and I highly recommend this for someone wanting to learn to play. I suggest a recorder first so you can learn to channel your air up/down so you can reach those high notes and keep it in tune. Other than that it is in perfect shape, plays well, and sounds amazing. Not to mention I was told it wasn't supposed to be delivered until September, it's already here and I couldn't be more satisfied with that!

A great, cheap way to try an ocarina for the first time or a cheap, functional cosplay prop.
I've had this for a few days now and after a bit of trouble in figuring out how to read 12hole ocarina tabs, I'm having a lot of fun with it. I've already learned how to play Zelda's Lullaby and Lon Lon Ranch/Epona's theme. It's not the highest quality Ocarina, but at a mere 16$ what can you really expect? For it's cost versus quality its quite good, and useful for any cosplay who needs a cheap but functional Ocarina. I may invest in a nicer ocarina down the line, but wanted a cheap one to test the waters and so far I'm having a blast. I gave it 4 stars for two reasons. Although it's excellent quality for the cost, I'm not sure why the "banding" near the mouth piece isn't gold like it originally is, and It has some discoloration near the windhole where noise comes out of. The other reason is that It really didn't come with anything; Just an ocarina in bubblewrap that just said "Here it is, have at it." .It would have been nice to have an instruction booklet or a few sample tabs included for some easy Zelda songs. (I'd have recommended Zelda's Lullaby as a starter, Epona's Song as an intermediate, and Saria's song as a medium-hard to kick it off.) Still, to anyone looking to try an ocarina with little investment, or need a cheap functional prop for a cosplay, this is a great value; Just keep in mind it's not supposed to be anything but a basic ocarina.

Perfect
This is a great purchase(IMO of course) sounds great, and learning to play great too. Comes with a booklet to play some songs like happy birthday and Marry had a little lamb, but you can easily look up now to play actual songs from the Legend of Zelda games, except the songs don't actually work, which I am a little disappointed in lol. But overall it is a great ocarina, if I could say one negative thing about it, it is a little heavy the string I came with, doest really hold well to wear around neck. Nonetheless great purchase and I am very happy!

Great look, Worst sound.
Recieved it and automatically played it... Pros: Really beatifull ending. Resemble very well the tri-force symbol. ALMOST perfect for geeks, why? Explained on the Cons. Cons: TERRIBLE SOUND, this automatically downs a few stars, I have seen some videos of people who plays this ocarina, all I can say is that at least they can play ALL THE NOTES, my ocarina doesn't play higher notes, it is like blow on a empty soda bottle with a hole on the bottom, no sound at all. Only reproduce, not very well, some of the notes that shows on the book that acompanies it. Conlusion: 2 stars only for the very well looking ceramic, if it wasn't for that, I would be giving it only 1 star.
