So far, so good
Solid product for the money. Been using it for more than a month and like it so far! Great for starters

Good product. its about 2 ft square and is ok .the wattage is lower than it should be to do a really efficient growing job but it is real low energy. and probably perfect for rooting cuttings - seed starts, etc. I used a (long type) plastic Milk carrier (with the diamond opening sides).Turn it on its end... line the sides with aluminum foil (shiny side out) (top and bottom not necessary -INSDE the box).. carefully drill (2) 1/16th inch holes in the edge of the frame (diametrically apposed sides, very edge of frame, and wire it to the top of the container with vegetable bag twist ties. (It fits the top of these like its made for it) put your little plant containers on the bottom, put it on like a T V tray facing out next to a south facing window (and hopefully wall outlet)(for additional sun action) .You would have to go a long way to find a setup that is better and cheaper than this!

Works...but not truly functional
I bought this essentially to use as a test item for my indoor aquaponic garden. It arrived on time and in good condition. The contents included the light and mounting hardware, all of which were easy to setup. It is bright, but that is mostly due to the sheer number of LEDs that are mounted on the light. When I compared it to other lights (CFL, T8, High Power LED) using a light meter, it falls short in terms of actual output. I originally placed the light over one of my grow beds in which I had planted a small tomato seedling. At the same time I planted tomato seedlings under a combination of CFL/T8 lamps in another grow bed. All of the plants grew, but within a couple of weeks it was pretty obvious that the plant under this light only was less robust than the others. After about one month I added a 30 watt white LED floodlight above this plant and it went crazy with growth. I'm sold on the LED technology for indoor gardens, but this particular light will not give you significant growth. Aside from that, the product works, it was kept running 18 hours a day from October through January, all of the LEDs are still working, and I may play around with adding more of these units to surround a single grow bed later this year to see if that gives better results.

Good for small plants
Low heat, Good for small plants, growing "starts". Not for growing a big bushy cannabis plant.

so-so
I thought this lamp would be enough to grow a single small ornamental plant, but as it turns out the plant has definciencies, the leaves are not as green as they should be so I guess the lamp doesn't provide the full light spectrum, although so far the plant has not died yet....

Effective for it's cost.
Good for seedlings, clone, and small plants.
