This is an important election year for our nation. With many hoping for the next President to restore this country, it is important for us to be mindful that our true and only hope are found in God. With that in mind, If My People: A Prayer Guide for Our Nation is a perfect tool for believers and church to utilize. This is a 40-day prayer guide with a brief reflection, a Scripture reading and prayer to read for each day, focusing on a different aspect of our nation. Another feature are small excerpts from Presidents and key leaders of America discussing the importance of God for the success of our democracy. There are also small recountings of the Great Awakenings we have seen in our national history.There are a variety of prayer guides for our country and most seem to involve some 40-day pattern. It is good for us to be in prayer for our nation, and whatever tool can help us in that work is a benefit in my book. If My People is an excellent, short and inspiring prayer tool for any believer and/or church to utilize in this election year, especially. My only complaint is that it is hard cover. This is a Great Way tool to use in a very important and difficult time in the history of our Nation. If as a Christian you don't GET ON YOUR KNEES and ASK OUR LORD AND SAVIOR to help us TAKE THIS COUNTRY BACK FOR HIM NOW we may not get another chance. We have strayed so far from HIM and by the looks of the way things are going He has and will continue to turn HIS BACK on us a a Nation if we don't seek his forgivness and turn from our wicked ways. This book will give you a way to pray specifically each day to help ask HIM to please BLESS this country again.Thank you so much for writing it.

We have forgotten as a nation to pray for our nation. This small little helps to pray for our nation. From Eisenhower’s inaugural address of 1953, he prayed for wisdom and discernment to know right from wrong. He prays for cooperation of all who have different political faiths to cooperate. This is exactly what we are missing today. I was blessed and encouraged as I read this book.

Need these prayers for our country.

I was expecting this book to be bigger in size than it was. It is small, not just in page length. But it's good for a quick little daily read.

Great to have on hand and share them with other folks too! We need to be a people of prayer!!

This is a wonderful prayer guide for our nation. I have been through it countless times, and have shared it with many of my family and friends. America needs to come back to the Lord, and this prayer guide has 40 simple, yet powerful prayers to lift up our nation . I HIGHLY recommend it!
