My dog is not used to these, so it is a challenge getting them to stay on. However, through persistency, we will continue to put them on him. I could tell that he does like them. He's realizing that he's not sliding on the floor. They won't stay on if there's a sudden movement and he moves, however, if he's just tiptoeing around, they do stay on. I like the product and think that it is great durability and a great idea, soft, comfortable, paw protection all yes. Not their fault it comes off. It's the dog's.

She fit into the size small perfectly. She seems a lot more comfortable walking around on the floor without slipping and hurting herself. The velcro straps keep them in place well. She doesn’t seem to even mind them and actually waits til we put them on after going out for potty. I think she realizes that they help her and she enjoys the support they offer. She used to hate when we put on her outside shoes so seeing her like these and patiently wait til we put them on is amazing. Great purchase!!

The snaps are bulky. They ride on my Maltese shin bones. Like the socks tho bc they tend to stay on without the Velcro snaps. Warm, protective, no slipping and super cute pink color. No wetness when she piddles in the rain. Very good quality.

I bought these grippy socks because they’re advertised for lickers and scratchers, and the concept is great. The grip on the bottom is solid, and the Velcro straps did keep them up initially. I also made sure the sizing was correct and that they fit well—not too tight. Day one went fine: my 5-year-old anxious pitbull wore them while I was out for about 2 hours with no issues. But day two was a different story. Within about 15 minutes of being left unsupervised, she bit through the Velcro strap. So if you’re buying these specifically for an anxious dog, it might be a no—once mine decided to focus on them, the Velcro didn’t stand a chance. Might still work for calmer dogs who won’t chew at the straps, but for my use case it didn’t hold up as advertised.

I got these for our 13 y/o 65lb labradoodle and they work great. They fit great and are not constrictive at all. They have the grippy on both sides, top and bottom, so if they get turned he still walks on the grippy spots. The strap, I was actually impressed with that. The socks and strap connect via a small metal snap, allowing you to use the strap - or not. I’ve always had issues with socks / shoes for our dogs because I was always afraid I’d get them on too tight or they’d keep falling off. These snap-on Velcro snaps are not hard and stiff, which I really like. I put them on and wrap them around his leg with my finger in the sock under the strap to ensure they are not too tight. I got these socks because of slippery floors, we have no carpet. We’ve had rugs all over the house - it’s ridiculous. I’ve now taken up several of the smaller (room connecting) rugs and had him walk on the floors - no slipping. At all. He doesn’t seem to mind the socks - hence getting them on so they’re not too tight. He’s not picking at them or anything. I wish I had found these for our girl who passed last October. She was 15 years old and had great difficulty walking even with all the rugs all over the place. One came off. My fault, I didn’t do the finger placement for sizing. I went to put it back in and he stood there very cooperatively letting me put it on. He knows they are a good thing. I will be ordering more. I highly recommend them! 👍🏼👍🏼

Excellent socks very cute. They stay on with Velcro. If you have a dog that will kick off any socks or boots or chew them then this is not likely to work any more than any other such product. My dog will do virtually anything for a snack: he would speak foreign languages for a snack if he could! So, once he had a couple of snacks he left his socks alone, and I could take him out in the snow and he was able to not get cut paw pads. The snow ice and sand have in previous times cut his paws. My beautiful dog HUCK is nice and comfortable and without any injuries now because of the socks and I intend to order a couple more pairs. Well one pair is in the laundry. The other pair can be on his feet. He even wags his tail now when I put his socks on one tip: when you wash the socks, make sure that you remove the Velcro it attach to the sock with a snap. Just take the Velcro tabs off and wash the socks and dry the socks and then wash in the dryer then when the socks have been cleaned, you can put the Velcro back on.

My dog is a senior, but doesn't have issues with his hips yet. Our floors are slippery. They do help him from sliding as he walks. He is a 100 lb lab with big paws, and they fit great. I bought these to help with conditioning his paws. They are scratchy. I apply coconut oil, and cover for 2 hours. They help in keeping him from licking his paws. I don't use the snaps, so I can't give an opinion on they.

These seem to be more comfortable for our elderly dog as he doesn't shake them or bite at them. Wearing these allows him to walk all around the house without the fear of slipping because of weakness in his back legs. They are easy enough to put on and velcro into place to avoid slipping off his feet. However the velcro is held on by a button so if your house is like ours you'll be missing velcro on at least one each time you try to put them on..

These little socks are perfect for my bichon who was munching and licking her paws due to an infection. I had been unsuccessfully and very stressfully, using one of my trainer socks with some micropore tape, but these just didn't stay on and were very difficult (and stressful for both me and Trixie) to get on and off. These little socks fitted perfectly (I made sure to measure as instructed before purchasing) and the Velcro meant they were easy to secure and also to remove when needed. The non-slip pads helped her to remain secure on the hardwood floors. They didn't seem to bother her at all and she was able to walk normally. They are easily washed as well - I washed by hand rather than machine as I didn't want the Velcro to get stuck on any other item of clothing. I would definitely recommend.

My 16 year old dog has arthritis, two older knee surgeries, and general weakness in her back legs and lower spine. I have hardwood floors and some rugs, but she has lost her confidence on the wood floors and has taken to lying on the rugs and whining whenever I leave the room. I started thinking about those rubber boots for dogs, came to Amazon looking for dog slippers, and found these. They arrived quickly, fit perfectly (I based the size on her paw measurements and the size chart), and she got used to them within just a minute or two. Now she feels better on the wood floors, and even seems to be a little stronger. Definitely more confident and no slipping at all. She even holds her body more naturally with the socks on. Great non slip socks for my little guy. The were a little to big so I made them to fit. Excellent non slip on both sides. Great service and delivery time.

A tad difficult to put on but once on, they stay put, they're comfortable and my senior gal is no longer slipping in the hardwood and marble floors. So glad I got these!

Terrible product. The Velcro band is huge and very stiff. They didn’t adjust the size of the band for size small it’s ridiculous. Doesn’t work at all for small dogs, do not buy this if your dog is anything other than a large breed.
