Great hot sauce
This is a lot of hot sauce! It says extra hot, but it is not going to make you sweat. If you like Frank’s, you will like this. The containers seem really sturdy and good for long-term storage if needed. Good quality, taste, and heat. A great substitute for ketchup.

High Quality Sauce
I had a bottle of Frank's RedHot Original and Frank's Wing Sauce in the past and I thought that the Original was very good. That is what prompted me to buy this product, Frank's RedHot Xtra Hot. The sauce, to my taste buds, is very close to the famous Tabasco Sauce original sauce. The original Tabasco, I have heard, is the only commercial product allowed, and ever required, to be presented at the table in its original bottle by the Cordon Bleu (sic) Academy such is its famous. Anyway, this stuff both in appearance, heat lavel, and taste is remarkably close. The Tabasco may or may not have had a slightly more lingering savor though they both are excellent sauces especially considering the price for the Frank's. I make a kind of ;Thai sweet pepper sauce from sugar, Tapatio hot sauce, a small amount of Bragg's vinegar and Golden Barrel Blackstrap molasses. Tapatio is supposedly a favorite in California and is also a good sauce. In my Thai or Asian type sweet sauce, I have, on occasion, boosted it a bit with a jigger of Tabasco original. Frank's Xtra Hot should be like making it with all Tabasco. Bottom like is that this is a good sauce, fairly hot, and at a good price. If you like a more garlic flavor you can probably try Louisiana Supreme or Valentina, a sauce which is not overy hot but very flavorful and is supposedly the most popular table brand in Mexico itself. Try all the hout sauces you can is my motto. Get this sauce. It'll probably keep forever in the refrigerator and may even age and improve like a fine wine.

Great price and good flavor
good flavor and great price, so many other hot sauces are overpriced. yes, some taste better but not for five times the price. It's all cayenne pepper and vinegar basically.

The Best of The Best
Love Frank’s Hot sauce and Xtra Hot is even better. I grow Cayenne peppers in my garden, but the sauce is a step above, add to any dishes and enjoy the result.

Great all-purpose hot sauce at a bargain price!
Aficionados and true connoisseurs of hot sauce may turn up their noses at most brands commonly encountered in US restaurants - most of them don't compare well with Mexican hot sauces for heat and flavor. But this Frank's Red Hot Xtra Hot is really quite good! It is hotter than the normal Frank's you may find in restaurants, and the flavor is quite nice, too. For about 10 cents an ounce it is a real bargain! If you go through a lot of hot sauce like I do, you may really appreciate this sauce as an all-around general-purpose hot sauce. And you won't have to worry about running out quickly! I will be buying more of this when I run out. Let's hope they don't jack the price up! UPDATE 1 year later: It's at the "best by" date and I've used about half - it's still great and seems to have aged well, maybe it's even a bit better!

Frank's RedHot Xtra Hot
I love cayenne-based hot sauce, especially Frank's RedHot Sauce, which is good on a lot of things. I blow through a 1Gal container of Frank's easily within a week or so. The Pros + It tastes good + The price I paid was worth it The Cons + It's like water + Doesn't taste or feel hotter I hate to say there is a con about this sauce, but I really hate that it pours like water. Even though I can pretty much drink it, it makes it harder to use without putting too much on something. There is no thickness at all like the normal Frank's RedHot Sauce, and maybe it's just me, but it doesn't feel or taste any hotter than the normal sauce. Overall though, I love Frank's RedHot Sauce—it's my #1 favorite hot sauce, and most likely always will be.

A money saver and a flavor to savor!
Everyone's trying to save money, right? If you're still buying those little bottles one at a time, stop. Just get yourself a gallon. One of the smartest purchases I've made for the cupboard. I always liked the Xtra Hot flavor but didn't know they also made this one in gallon sizes. I've had my current bottle for awhile and just refill the little bottle as needed. Just like the commercial, I put that ish on everythang!

It’s actually hot!
I love spicy food, though it’s loving me less and less as I get older. I particularly enjoy Redhot original, but it’s never actually been Hot to me. Redhot original is a nice “spicy”, “salty” flavor that goes great on lots of things. I tried Redhot extra expecting it to be a bump up from the original…oh, it did not dissapoint! I would actually say it’s a couple bumps up from Original. It’s genuinely “hot”. I enjoy it and I’m very happy with the purchase, though now that I have it, I’ve realized, it doesn’t replace the original…it’s a nice thing to have as well, but sometimes when I thought I wanted “hot” I didn’t really want “HOT”. So I have both.

Very nice. I was looking for a hot version of Frank's and this is better than the standard version while retaining the great taste.

Jus when you think that Franks Hot Sauce couldn't get any better they bring oy Extra Hot Sauce. They've managed to really up the heat without compromising on flavour. Would fully recommend.

I like the OG Frank's Hot Sauce, but it is t what I would call hot. This has more of a kick to it, closer to Tabasco but cheaper. A bit less vinegary than normal Frank's too. Unfortunately there is only one seller on Amazon for this, and the expiry date wasn't great (although the vinegar in it should preserve it?)
