JOLLY RANCHER Fruity Bash Assorted Fruit Flavored Hard Candy Bag, 13 oz

As the title says, all the flavors are delicious, except pineapple. I think pineapple is horrible. It tastes like a chemical concoction. The only two flavors of Jolly Rancher candy I do not like are pineapple and watermelon. At least watermelon is edible. Pineapple is not. I did give them my coworkers. They did like them.

I bought these for my daughter because I know she likes Jolly Ranchers and what is sold in the stores are the typical watermelon, green apple, and cherry, and I was explaining to her how when I was a kid we would go to the local candy store on the way home from school and get so many different flavors, so when I saw these, as well as the tropical variety, it was an opportunity to show that dad wasn’t just talking nonsense. And they were very well received and taste like they did years ago.

I like the assorted flavor combo of peach, orange, pineapple, strawberry and lemon. However, my favorite flavor is lemon but there was hardly any lemon in this bag. So, that was disappointing and on top of that, this candy is also pricey. Where I live I can no longer get this product. So, I had to resort to getting it here. Where I live I used to be able to get this product for $ 5.00. So, like I said a bit pricey. So, I don’t buy this that often do to the price.

The media could not be loaded. The Jolly Ranchers are an age old treat that comes in a lot different flavors. I miss the green ones though. I thought the sour apple was a nice change of pace. The different types now don't bring me back all the way from a walk to the store and back. I hope the bring back some of those flavors soon even though its right for the price. I don't want to say its not like a snickers because its to different things but I am not one for a snack to overwhelm the day but who knows what chocolate was really meant for. I am a buyer with this one. I just think a little more versatility in the count.

It's crazy to think that the flavor taste just like bitting into a fresh fruit. I was blown away with the flavor. My only complain is the variety you get in a bag. Not sure if it was luck or whatever but I ended up with only two lemon flavor candy in my bag but a butt load of peach and pineapple. Lemon became my favorite flavor out of the possible of 5 flavors.

I've never written a review. Reason for this is I was disappointed to find the candy was clearly not fresh. It had to have been in a temp to cause some melting and re-hardening. If you've ever had had hard candy that has been old or melted. You know it becomes sticky not only to the wrapper but to your teeth even tho your just letting sit in your mouth. And the taste is totally different. Buyer beware!

This product has gone way up in price, and the variety if flavors has decreased tremendously. In the photos, I placed the Pineapple, Peach & Orange flavors to the left and to the right are the Strawberry and Lemon. As one can clearly tell from the photos, there are a CRAZY amount of Pineapple hard candies when it is clearly marked as a variety of flavors included. This is the second time this has happened. I've noticed it with the Grape flavor in the "original" bags. Very low on Blue Razz and high on Grape. I'm disappointed that there wasn't more equality in the "variety" of flavors and that on top if that, the price increase was insane. I was impressed that none of them were melted but them back to unimpressed when I went to return them due to the issues listed above, returns weren't allowed. Won't be buying again anytime soon.
