If you are looking for a hot, spicy Italian crushed red pepper for your pizza, pasta, stuffed peppers, etc. this is it. It has a nice fruity flavor with real heat. I'm Italian - American from Brooklyn and I know the real stuff when I taste it. This is it. By the way, there is another Calabrian crushed red pepper on sale from Amazon (sorry, but I threw out the package so I don't remember the name) that only has moderate heat, say a 3 on a 1 - 10 scale (10 being the hottest) that I also like very much, as does my wife. This pepper is very fruity and adds just a little heat and is perfect if you don't like things real hot. It's a good product too. By the way, if you want authentic pepperoncini, BUY ITALIAN. Look where the product is from. If it's from China, fuhgeddaboutit.

Love this brand; they never disappoint! Got this for the spice (which I love) and the seeds (that I hope will germinate; no risk no reward!). Just opened it tonight, looks great, smells great and tastes great as well. Package arrived quickly and sealed. The pepper has a nice texture and is not dried out either which is better than the majority of these types of crushed chilies. Shaker and scoop lid; easy to use.

Disappointed. Not even close to being full

I love this pepper blend, it's absolutely delicious and can go on anything, even desserts. It's great in hot chocolate or brownies! I use it on eggs, salads, soups, stews, roasts, veggies, pizza, burgers, casseroles, pasta... nearly everything. It's spicy without being too hot and the flavor is amazing. It lasts awhile since you only need a little. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars for me is it's already salted. If you need to keep to a low sodium diet look elsewhere. It's pretty salty already. I wish I could find one without added salt. Otherwise it's perfect. Put it on everything. it's great even added to ketchup or other sauces like teriyaki. But again since those things are salty themselves be aware it can quickly turn to being far too oversalted. Because of this I find I can almost never add as much of it as I would like to. Super yum though. 9/10 would recommend.
