The best battery holster there is, if you have a DAS!
I can't comment on an experience I haven't had, so I'll stay solely with the DAS (Vive Deluxe Audio Strap) experience. The instruction video available here is great, and answered the only question I had (by first trolling me with improper rotation). When mounted to the bottom of the DAS in the back, the battery is held exceptionally well. It feels as solid as the headset is mounted on the front. The two batteries I've put on it fit very snugly, and don't shift at all during intense gameplay. The extra velcro straps provided were a nice plus, as the DAS doesn't have good cable management for the Frankenquest setup. But the real gem is that added cable. I admit, I'm not using it - I gave it to my brother who loves it, because I'm using a different one I bought specifically for this setup, but it was such a nice little gesture to add a 90 degree USB cable to the setup for anyone with a random battery pack to be able to use it cleanly with their Quest. If I had anything negative to say about it, it would be the clip that mounts to the DAS could be slightly larger to make it look like it's more secure, while simultaneously bending more with the lever (when you use the unit, you'll understand what I'm talking about). As it stands it doesn't visually look as secure as I'd like, but, like I said, having played several rigorous games with it, the battery is still very securely mounted. This problem isn't even worth taking a star off.

Very comfortable on Halo strap for quest 2
I ordered and received the newer version of this battery pack holder (the one that includes the magnetic charging cable and the rubber padding.) I attached it through the velcro strap that runs over the top of your head on the halo strap. The rubber pad makes it comfortable enough to forget it's there while also helping to keep it from sliding around on top of your head. I was concerned that the battery pack may slide out of the holder since it's a slim battery pack, but between the rubber circles and the rubberized backing on the velcro straps, I feel that was an unfounded concern.I have not used the included magnetic charging cable, as I already am using a magnetic connector on my Quest 2 that supports data transfer at USB 3.1 speeds (10Gbps) and works for wired link for pcvr, so I can't give any honest feedback on the included magnetic charging cable. I also did not need to use the waist strap (though it was included, I forgot to put it on my table when taking the picture of the included accessories.)Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the holder, and feel it included everything I needed to make sure my external battery pack is secure while better balancing the weight of the headset, and with the included rubber pad, sits comfortably against my head, providing both comfort and stability (as the pad does seem to help prevent the top strap from sliding from side to side with the weight of the battery pack.)

No More Neck Strain!
I use the DAS mod on my Quest 2. Installation to the strap was very quick and easy, and it really holds on even with the small claws clamping to the strap. I had a little trouble understanding how to secure the magic straps, but I figured it out. It holds my Anker PowerCore Select 10k snugly and the rubber bumpers keep it from shifting. The magnetic cable is such a nice bonus because it keeps me from having to plug and unplug my charging cable, though I would say it needed to be shorter since it isn't that long of a distance from the battery to the headset, depending on how you orient it. Also, I do not know if the cable is maxe for data transfer, so make sure you check that before hooking the Quest 2 to a PC for data access. This bracket evens all the weight around your skull and makes holding your head up soooo much easier. I think this will make playing on Virtual Desktop way more comfortable.Overall a great buy for a great price and STILL, combined with the right battery, cheaper than that RR VRPower battery xD!

Good holder, questionable cable, easily moddable to fit non-standard headstraps
So, I managed to attach it to the back of my BoboVR M2 headstrap for my Quest 2 with a bunch of Velcro straps I had leftover from building my PC. It does a great job holding my 10k mAh backup battery securely in place, even when I am whipping around my head very quickly in games like Synth Riders or H3VR.I feel like, for the stock strap that comes with the Quest 2, it will be fine by itself (I recommend immediately replacing the strap, as the stock one and the official "premium" strap are both garbage). If you have a different type of strap, you should generally be fine if you do a little "modding" with some Velcro ties (they are quite cheap). It shouldnt be too hard to mod the holder so you can easily get to the battery to remove it no matter what kind of headstrap you lash it to.One thing to note, I feel like the cable that comes with this set is liable to short something due to the design. Not only that, but the detachable connector has very little to properly grab onto once you insert it. It might be pretty difficult to remove the cable once you attach it. I would just toss the cable personally.

Great Product! Great Value!
High quality and fast shippingThis product arrived quickly with no issues ( I love Prime!). I had no trouble following the assembly instructions and it went on without much effort. The connector pieces werr sturdy and didn't feel flimsy. My power brick fits very nicely and is held very well and I never felt like it wasn't secure. I tried a few different sizes and shapes. All of them were held in place well. By now everyone knkws that the biggest complaint about comfort with the Quest is that it is extremely front heavy. This holder is very sturdy and allows for a very good counterbalance. Extra bonus, the product adds the option to mount it on a belt and with the included clips, cord management is not a problem. Overall very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this product to others.
