I wanted to wait until I had used this for a while before I reviewed it. It's been 2 1/2 months and I have used it often.We have 5 dogs and they put about about 10 pounds of poop twice a week, so this scooper gets a workout every week.The good-It has a handle that is long enough for a 6' 2" person like myself to use it without having to bend over.It is easy to wash off after each use.The scooper opens up wide enough to handle those large "deposits."The spring loaded mechanism on the scoop works reasonably well for opening and closing.The bad-Well, it's not really a bad, but I wish the springs were stronger. Sometimes while picking up a pile in grass, I have to push down on the spring loaded handle a little and twist the whole thing a little to get it to close all the way down in the grass. Not a deal-breaker at all, just an observation. I'm going to see if I can add an additional spring.Overall, I find this product has done what I need it to do. And isn't that all you can really ask of anything?

I have two big dogs. It picks up waste easily. I'm 5'9 and it works well for me. Makes a gross job much easier to keep up with. It's lasted a few months now and seems to be durable.

Works, does the job (way better than without!) bags that come with are tight fit. (not sure good/bad) hard part, is putting bag on unit (in unit?) initially, hard to pull hand out, without bringing bag out with it, using unit teeth, rips. but overall, happy. (happier yet, ive only needed to use device a few times on our walks!) maybe a way to easily fold unit up for easy carry (i cant push in those button things with fingers... maybe make them longer? would make device amazing AND easy to store/carry with you.) One of the two springs broke in less than two months, which is past the return window. The springs are so thin I expect the second one to break any day. So disappointing!

I was not happy with this product. When I slide the thing to lock it in place then pull the handle to open the claws , the claws lock open and I cant pick up the poop . I have to force the lever back down for the claws to close and by that the poop falls out . You'd be better off with a rake and shovel . Very disappointed in this product

This one is easier to use since its longer than the one I had. My only problem is the design of the teeth. It doesn't do a great job when the dogs have loose stool, but otherwise it works great. More jagged teeth would be better for getting more of it out of the grass. That said, it's an improvement over what I had as far as use. As long as the springs last longer than the other brands I've used, I'd recommend it.

I like the long handle, clean by open and close in dirt or sand to clean the teeth. Does not pick out of grass well as teeth are only on one side the other are flat cutouts. Need to use tool to move grass aside and push lower to pick up in short grass. Too bad my old tool broke it has teeth on both sides.

This is a solid pooper scooper. It does tears up the grass a little but I think that it at least partially my fault. It works great for small dogs and I doesn't see why it wouldn't be as great for larger dogs. The collection area is ample for small sized dogs. Again a don't see an issue with the collection area for larger dogs. Just be sure to know the size of your dogs deposits if you think it might be an issue

Very much a great purchase! It works as exactly as I had hoped. No more bending over to pick up many times in one day after my 3 little pooches, while I’m waiting for hip replacement surgery ;(... also it works well on all surfaces. I mainly pick up off pavement my driveway!

We had been looking for a longer scooper because the shorter handles cause our backs to hurt. The height of this is great! No more bunching over!

We like the long handle, no stooping. Appears well made, we'll see if it stands the test of time.

I have two large dogs both over 100lbs this works great. It’s so much easier than the previous one I bought from a pet store. It’s longer which means no sore back after.
