WELLMILLER Bane Mask Adult Costume Props for Dark Knight Cosplay

As far as bane masks go - this is the one you want. I ordered and tried on a few this year, and this was hands down the best quality. The pipes on the breather portion are separate plastic pieces and use a type of snap-fit to hold them in place, rather than being the same PV the mask is made from and either molded or glued in place like every other mask. The colors are also more vibrant so it stands out more. The only downside, for me personally, is that the sizing is the same as every other mask. So, being a more bane-sized person like myself leaves me with a mask i can only pull on about 3/4 of the way. I ended up crafting my own mask, but i kept this one to use as a model, and to borrow some parts from.

The mask is in very poor condition. It is crooked and does not line up on the face. For the price I expected it to fit and be comfortable. It's described adult size but the length is made for a child. I tried to return within minutes of it being delivered but was told ITEM CAN NOT BE REFUNDED OR RETURNED. This is the first time I've ever had this issue on Amazon.

Bought this mask for my husband with Trick-or-Treat 4 nights away. Other masks I found were too expensive, so thought I'd give this one a try. First of all, shipping was super quick! I ordered last night and it arrived today. Then I was super impressed with the quality and overall look. It honestly looks a lot better than the photo. The little hoses over the mouth look pretty realistic and silver, and there is a thick cloth that lines around the nose/mouth area inside, so the mask doesn't rub or scratch on your face. This makes it pretty comfortable. However, the mask is a little big, but I have a big head so it works great for me and for my husband. Kids couldn't wear this one, and anyone with a small head may need to make a little adjustment if they want a perfect fit. I feel like this mask could easily be tightened by simply punching some sort of string or strap through the back of the mask, near the edges where you put your head in, on both sides. Then you could just tie the strings/straps or velcro to tighten the fit. BUT I do feel like most people, men especially, will be able to fit in this mask well. Overall, I am super happy with this mask. It looks great! For reference, I bought the Classical Silver version. Would 100% buy again.

Very good material; excellent painting and worksmanship. I understand was made from scratch. Very high quality, and would recommend to anyone seeking a bane mask. Valve came undone, but some super glue; and you have a very nice bane mask. I tucked bandanas in the rear for a tight fit. Excellent and fun.

The quality of this mask matches the low price. It's not terrible, but as many others mention it will be shipped in a soft, bubblewrapped filled envelope. This makes it arrive very deformed and twisted. I tried what another user mentioned on one of these masks and it worked perfectly. I filled a soup pot with water and heated it on my stove. Not to simmering, but enough where it began steaming with some bubbles at the bottom and removed the pot from the stive. Using tongs, I dipped the mask in and rotated it around for about 5 minutes (making sure the mask didn't sit on the bottom of the pot for too long). This softens the material, making it malleable. I reshaped it as it should be and then placed it on my head to get it to fit me better. Then I dunked my head under cold running water so the masks' shape would set as I liked. Also, this mask is definitely designed to fit someone with a much larger head than mine. I wear a M/L hat (in Under Armour blitzing) for reference. If you have a very large head you may not run into this issue. Every bit of the mask was way too bit for me. So, while I don't recommend doing this since it could ruin the mask, I had to modify it to fit tighter. I cut about an inch of the back of it where it meets the neck, and cut out a triangle shape with the cuts meeting up toward the manufacturers logo. I brought the cut portions together with black Gorilla Tape, and used Gorilla Glue Gel to bond it together. I also used some of the excess material that I cut off to line the area where I glued it to fill in some of the gaps. It fits much tighter, not too uncomfortable. It did make the back/crown of the mask point out a bit, but it still looks much better than how it originally did. Also, as an extra tip, Bane's voice effect can be mimicked by talking in a short glass of sorts (try this at home, it creates an echo similar to his in the movie). I had a porcelain sake cup that fit semi-well in the mouthpiece and it sounded perfect. However, it wasn't the most comfortable, especially with the mask being modded to fit tighter so I couldn't leave it in there very long. Maybe a Dixie Cup cut short could do this effect, but I didn't have any on hand to try. In all, even with the work I had to do on the mask, the low cost was worth it. I do wish there was a version that cost just a bit more that allowed for size adjustments, and also it would be nice it if were to be shipped in an actual box with somethings inside the mask to help it keep the proper shape.

Great mask, very detailed. Minor inconvenience with the tubes on the mouth piece popping out from time to time, but easy to pop back in. Great for Halloween/cosplay. It is a bit of a snug fit for me but I have a big head haha. Hope this helps with your decision.

I was very excited to get the mask but it turned out to be extremely small. The quality is poor for that price point. As soon as you attempt to wear it the plastic pieces in the front, fall off . The troublesome part is It says that is returnable with a certain date but it is not. Even AMAZON customer Service representative said that that was deceiving but it was not under their control because it is an external Department.

This mask is amazing. So comfortable. And realistic. I naturally have long hair so I used a latex bald cap and foam latex for the seams, I bought a cheap vest on Amazon, instead of the expensive bane version. And liked it so much I wore the mask and outfit out and about the town to do Christmas shopping lol. I liked how unsure people were. Very realistic. And as for the voice no there is not a built in voice changer. I did that on my own by studying the character watching the movie. Not hard. The mask did come with some black duct tape in the mouth area. Witch I left in because I figured that was there cheap way of helping change the voice as It will vibrate a little and act as a diaphragm. It worked great for me. And I think if you don't let your kids play with it or actually get into a fist fight than it shouldn't break like other reviews said. Mine is in great condition. Came folded in a bubble rap package. Made of thick rubber. I put mine in hot water for 10 min to soften it up and loose the folding form then put it on right away. To form to my head. Thx for the great replica mask.

Mask was deformed even after soaking it in 80 degree water for some time as per the instructions. Apparently you can’t return it, but the vendor had the “decency” to refund me 10% of the total paid amidst the inconvenience... What am I going to do with $6.00 and a cheap looking, shapeless mask?

It looks better in the pictures. The pieces on the front were half falling off. I had to re glue them myself. Way over priced for what you get too.
