Why did you choose this product over others?: This product looked sturdy and safe but also so easy to install. No drilling holes in the window frame, just choose your desired gap opening and stick to the frame. All I needed was a pencil to mark where to place the fixings and to make sure I can close the window with the fixings on. All done in a matter of minutes. And I like the ease of being able to fully open the window by just a press of a button and releasing the slide. I purchased these fixings for my kitten so she cannot get out of the house if I leave a window open upstairs.

Absolutely fantastic product. I bought these to stop my small dog (Chihuahua type) from pushing the windows open, and escaping. It also stops the windows blowing open, in windy conditions (a bonus for me, living in windy Lincolnshire), so no more sprained hinges. It opens enough to get a breeze through, but not enough for small pets or children to escape through. If you need to open the window further, just simply unclip them, by using the buttons on the small (frame side) part, then click back into place to use as the safety latch. Very easy to put together and install, which only takes about 30 seconds. Very strong adhesive, but also has screw holes, just in case. I've seen a review that says the instructions are too small, but there is a video of it, in the description, for you to see. Just click through the pictures and the video is at the end. Very, very happy with this product and can highly recommend it. I will be buying a couple more for the other windows in the room.

Easy to install if you follow the instructions. It comes in 2 parts which have to be 'clicked' together. No tools needed and not too unsightly. It has a locking mechanism that is easy to open should the need arise. It also has screw holes incase you want to secure it that way. Otherwise, it's fitted with 'very' 'tape that's seems strong enough for me. I got this for 2 reasons. 1. To stop my window blowing when open as its in a wind trap 2. To stop my grandchildren from climbing up and fully opening the window. I only gave 4 stars as I've just installed it and need to know if the sticky will last. If not, I'll screw it to the frame. I would recommend this product

I found this product when looking for a solution to a problem we had with the side opening bathroom window continually blowing wide open as the side of the house seems to create some kind of wind tunnel that made the window virtually unusable. I tried this one as it did not require drilling and didn't need to be messed with every time we open the window. It is ridiculously easy to fit, follow the instructions exactly and you'll find it probably takes you longer to read the 4-5 step instruction diagrams than it does to fit them. It helpfully also comes with spare adhesive strips if you make a mistake or need to remove or reposition it in the future. Once fitted you open the window as normal and it automatically locks in place, stopping it blowing open or closed and also effectively stopping any cats (or kids!) escaping out of the window. To close you need to disengage the lock as you pull the window closed so closing it becomes a two-handed job (it is a smooth process as long as you aligned it correctly per the instructions when fitting). It is also easy to unclip the lock if you ever need to fully open the window. Despite the price of these they are a great design and do exactly what they promised. You still get a good amount of airflow and your windows are secure from being caught in the wind. I was so impressed with my purchased I bought 4 more to lock all the front windows in the house as we have cats that are only allowed out in the back garden. It is great to have all the windows open in the summer without having to worry about escapees, one of our cats now likes to sit with her paws out of the upstairs window and watch the world go by... Whether it is to keep animals in, protect children, or just to stop the wind catching your windows this product has you covered...

I bought the window lock because I live on the second floor of an apartment complex, I wanted to open the windows without the fear of my cats jumping out. The lock itself is very easy to put together, and the sticky adhesive pads are strong. I was sceptical due to the windows in the pictures all being horizontal but decided to try it on the vertical anyways. I did manage to make it work, the gap itself would have been open larger, but due to the way you position it, you can make the gap smaller, and or the shape of your window. It works for the windows in the adverts but you can work around it for others. Good, strong product that my escape artist cats haven't been able to crack.

This works great. I am using it on inward opening patio doors and it still works perfectly, once I had figured out exactly where to put it by trial and error. The 3 stars are because the instructions are tiny. Small photos and even smaller text meant that I couldn't see them clearly. I had previously bought a 1st device and because of the poor instructions I ended up sticking the smaller piece too far away from the edge of the door frame, and that meant that the door wouldn't open properly as the device arm jammed against it. It was very difficult to take the device off again, the glue pads were destroyed in the process, and contrary to other reviews, there are no spare glue pads included in the pack. I ended up binning the 1st device and had to buy this 2nd device, which (having learned through my mistakes) I installed correctly and is now working perfectly. My suggestion is larger, clearer instructions, and also expand the instructions to include how to install the device on inward opening windows and doors.

Usate su finestra ad apertura interna (nonostante l’indicazione sia per quelle ad apertura esterna). Funzionano perfettamente e sono a prova di gatti!

Arrived promptly. These were installed after an inspection of our rental property which advised that window restrictors needed to be fitted to all outward opening upstairs windows. They are very easy to install and require no tools or DIY knowledge. It is too early to say if they are long - lasting as they have only just been installed. They seem to be very sturdy. Would 100% recommend.

Je cherchais un blocage efficace pour mon chat, pour qu’il ne se faufile pas sur la barre d’appui du 5 Ème étage. L’adhérence est parfaite et semble assez costaud, l’ensemble est facile à monter, et merci aux personnes qui ont compris que ce blocage servait aussi bien pour les fenêtres s’ouvrant de l’extérieur que de l’intérieur ( pour le faire ouvrir de l’intérieur il suffit de le mettre à l’envers l’inscription BeeGoo à l’envers ( voir mes photos). Je recommande cet article.

n'écoutez pas les quelques commentaires qui râlent sur le fait que ca ne marche pas pour ouvrant intérieur/extérieur, cela marche niquel pour tout type d'ouverture, chats en parfaite sécurité en intérieur.(faut juste réfléchir sur comment l'appliquer...) J'en ai mis sur des battants intérieur, et chose pourtant rare, marche parfaitement sur des velux également.(possible de les mettre par la droite ou la gauche, très bien foutu) Photos des supports, ouvert et en relâchement si envie (ouverture totale). Producto top. Muy buena calidad. Resistente. Siendo plástico y adhesivos puedes pensar que no va a durar nada pero no. Tanto pars ventanas que se sbren hacia dentro y fuera. Permite sbrir y bloquear para ventilar. Muy bueno.
