Beach Bandana - UPF 50+ Sun Protection - Sanibel Everyday

I had this bandana for a few weeks and it works great in hot sun. I get bad headaches if I don’t cover my head and this one does the job without feeling hot. Not even baseball caps work for me, it gets hot. I wear it on my head and it has been holding up pretty good. I use it by the pool or anytime I have to stay out in hot sun and work. The pool water doesn’t seem to affect it and I got the white color. A good hand wash and it’s good to go. I actually just ordered a couple more to always have a clean one at hand. I recommend it, all the other types are 100% polyester, material which is known for keeping hot. The fabric is not too thin, not too thick, just perfect. Good quality not cheesy. I wished they had more colors.

I was hesitant to spend $19 on a bandana when walmart sells them for $1, but was drawn to them for the 50 spf. AND THEY ARE SOOOOO WORTH IT! I am VERY impressed with the sun protective bandana - the material is very soft, the bandana is larger than the regular bandanas I had bought at walmart so they are MUCH more comfortable and give way more protection as they cover my entire neck and chest. I also got compliments on how it looked which was surprising- I spend a lot of time outdoors and in the sun and don’t want skin cancer or to get the ‘old lady chest’ look of burnt and wrinkled neck and upper chest, so these are PERFECT!!! Despite being black, it stayed cool and I also used it to wipe sweat off my forehead. Many benefits. I can’t recommend this highly enough!!!

The stand out feature is the material quality. Soft, stretchy, protective, weirdly stylish considering it's just a white bandana... overall really great. The one criticism I might give is it could stand to be just a tad larger. I am 6' 170lbs with a perfectly average neck circumference, and it fits me, but if I were a bit bigger I would be limited in tying options. For an average sized woman I'm guessing this thing is ideal. Again, I am quite pleased, but if I weren't me... maybe it'd be too small.

I recently had thyroid surgery and I have to keep the incision out of the sun while it heals. This scarves make that easy and fool proof. In a couple weeks I can switch to sunblock but I’ll just continue to wear this scarf for ease and it’s ability to truly protect my skin. I’ve never been a bandanna wearer but I don’t hate wearing this. It’s a nice accessory for a casual look. The material is attractive and the edges have a nice finish. I haven’t gone swimming with it yet but I suspect it will be comfortable in the water and dry quickly.

Really nice soft fabric. Not see-through like cheaper scarves. Well-known Coolibar company so expected it to be quality and actually sun protective. Not disappointed.

Really wanted a bandana for sun protection that had some cotton in the mix, but not 100%. Here in Kentucky, it is pretty much humid if it is hot. 100% polyester bandanas and buffs might transport sweat, maybe, if it isnt too humid or hot, otherwise they do very little other than dam up the flow. 100% cotton soaks up sweat but wont let it go; then it clumps, binds, etc. So I was excited to find a bandana that has a nice blend.
