Gardening delight! Easy to break thru hard clay
Love this tool. Perfect we’re digging thru clay and weeds and using to plant flowers. It’s easier to break through with the serrated edge. Bought one for use and one for gift. The leather sheath is top quality. This is a tool that will last for years and has a good iron quality. Buy it again!

My most important hand tool...after my pruner.
Hori Hori knives are a must-have. This one seems very sturdy. I have always had a simple steel hori hori, so having an SS variety is a step up...I think. I hope it is not brittle. It is sharp, maybe too sharp. I have never needed to sharpen a hori hori knife, so I am not sure why the sharpening stone needed to be included. BTW, for those that care, the sheath is not real leather, but it is a hefty facsimile. I suggest squishing it from side to side to have the knife fit the sheath better. It is a tight fit. If you compress the sheath from side to side the knife will slip in more readily.

Beautiful instrument. This is now my go to for eradicating weeds, planting seedlings and any gardening task that would require a spade. Love the quality and the sheath, which is leather, can be looped to your belt for gardening ease.
