Perfect for me
This is the fourth air fryer I've tried. Cooking for one person, mainly seafood, tofu, veggies. I tried single and double "drawer style" fryers and neither worked well for what I'm doing. The single was too small, the double was interesting but huge. I didn't care for pulling out the drawers so I tried another that offered - like this one - the ability to lift out the pan in a similar way. I stood taller and was fairly noisy but it convinced me that this option is better than the pull-out drawers. This one is a reasonable size for its capacity. It's not real loud. The pan is large, square with rounded edges. The handle to lift it out works great. Very easy to clean (I don't put this kind of thing in the dishwasher, hand wash with soft sponge and natural detergent and it cleans easily). It has plenty of settings for me - four temps, several presets and a timer. Perfectly fine to make everything I'll need to. It feels solid and has rubber feet so doesn't move around when it shouldn't. The only negative is that, while it doesn't blow out a lot of heat (I always use it away from any objects/walls so wouldn't be an issue anyway) and doesn't heat up the countertop underneath it, some portions of the outer shell - specifically the lower sides and the metal ring just below the clear plastic section - get VERY hot. Too hot to safely touch. Need to be very careful not to brush against it and always only touch the (ok, pretty large) button to open it. The very top can also be touched as well as the controls, of course. But everyone needs to keep away from the big parts. Overall, I am satisfied with it and its price was inline with what I'd expect given the quality (generally good, but like most kitchen appliances these days, lots of plastic).

I have used this Air fryer for multiple recipes on the tubes...It's absolutely awesome! Makes cakes, soups, gravies, anything you do in the oven this does! So easy to clean ta-boot!

Easy to use with good end results, a bit too crunchy and a bit small, some safety concerns
DeLonghi is a well known brand in Europe but not so much in US other than the fact that some Nespresso machines carry the DeLonghi brand on them. The fryer is designed very nice, modern and beautiful, it reminds me of Darth Vador lol Right of the bat and out of the box, I could say that it was way bigger than I expected. For a 4QT capacity for something to be this big felt weird. There's a big push button in front that is attached to a spring to would pop up the lid on this thing and then inside is a square non stick pan with a handle that bends 90 degrees on the body of the fryer to save space. I don't like the fact that the handle turns 90 degrees with a hinge. Fatigue and mal-e-function of the hinge can cause a very dangerous situation if the hinge or handle break. It would be a disaster. I'm waiting for a recall on this to be honest. very risky design there. One nice feature is that it has some suctioning on the bottom so it would attach firm to the countertop. The plastic window on the lid comes off easily and can be washed or cleaned. One downside here is that I prefer glass over my food, I know it might break but I still prefer glass even if I have to replace it if it breaks. The controls are all digital in front, so finger marks can be an issue. You have buttons for preset functions, heat level, timer and top and bottom burners. I know most people want to do fries in this so here's the fries story. You can add about 3 lbs of potato in it to make your air fried fries. I always spray some vegetable oil to the food I want to air fry. It gives it a better taste imo In the guideline, it suggests you do 33 minutes to 36 minutes for your 3lbs of fries. you can set your own timer and your own temperature which is nice. You don't need to follow the preset functionality. The fries in my opinion are either cooked well but not crunchy at all or overcooked and very crunchy. so if you want your fries to be crunchy you would have to overcook it a little. It has a preset menu for fries and has 4 levels of heat. When you press the fries button, it automatically puts the temp level on 3. There are several other preset functions such as Pizza, chicken/fish, pie and you have the option of choosing bottom burner or upper burner. When you start it with your desired temperature and duration, you'll notice immediately by the fan turning on and the noise. It is pretty loud and everyone in our 2000sqf house will know it is on when it's on in the kitchen. It's like a very loud heater fan in the bedroom. I've found out that you better shake and steer the stuff in there once about every 10 minutes. Another safety concern that I have with this is the window gets really hot and it can easily burn a toddler. There is no indicator about how hot the window is. Overall, a good product in general if you are after an air fryer but it's not there yet imo. In their defense, I've tested 3-4 different high quality air fryers and none of them are that close to oil frying yet.

Take care of 110 volts machines
I had a great shock when i returned back egypt and used it because it gave me an error and a bad smell then didnot work again knowing that something had gone wrong, so on searching fir a reason snd how to fix , I found that as USa electricity is 110 volts and Egypt is 220 no no built in converter so the machine had burnt out.😞

Not all Air Fryers Were Made Equal
This is a flip top air fryer, so I can check my food without opening, or pop it open quickly and close. A lot of air fryers are “sliding” so the food is hidden from chef’s view, you can’t quickly check on your cooking. Works reliably and much better than heating in microwave. Nuking your food destroys the best nutrients.

1.5 times price of cosori w decent quality but cook time is a bit longer.
It's a great product. You can make frittata or whatever youd like really. The pan is easy to clean and is not rusting or losing its coat. Don't like the button where you push up the lid. I feel like it's going to break sooner or later.

Slow, loud, not fun to use.
The timer is stupid-bad and the rest seems under powered. I'm continuously wondering why it takes so long to get mediocre results. The horrible timer screwed me again so I'm back to lower my rating. And again.

Overall this is a good machine and its small profile makes it fit in any kitchen, and I would even say it could be a good item to have in an RV. It's not too loud and is very easy to clean. There are a couple of things about it that I take issue with, but for the most part this is a good quality item and would be a great addition to any kitchen. Others who have reviewed the De'Longhi RapidCrisp have said that the capacity is small and that it doesn't hold much. I don't agree - in my experience this crisper is large enough to cook up a good amount of food for a family of four. Operation is quite simple - you fill the basket with the food you want, configure the settings and press start. I did find myself referring to the manual quite a bit, and that's because the controls are not intuitive at all. To select the heat, instead of having degrees, there is a 1-4 scale which you have to refer to the manual to understand which number corresponds to which temperature. It would be helpful to have a sticker on the device with the conversion, or better yet, just put the temperatures on the dial - there's more than enough space to write the numbers. The timer also feels so dated. It's a dial that you turn and it starts ticking. It feels like I'm using an old microwave from the 1980s. Other manufacturers of these air friers have digital controls and a display so you know exactly how much time is left and exactly what temperature your food is at. On this you have to look at the dials and just guess. When the crisping timer is finished, you get an old-school bell 'ding' and the machine stops. Again, it really sounds like an old 1980s microwave, not a $250 kitchen appliance that was released in 2020. If you can get past the ancient-feeling controls, however, this is a pretty solid crisper. I keep calling it a crisper, but it's really more of a small convection oven. In the manual, there are instructions for cooking things like frozen pizza, fish, and even baking cookies. This is one of the reasons I like this for an RV - you might not want to exhaust your propane supplies using your oven and if you have power you can use this instead. It's not too loud but I wouldn't call it quiet. It runs at about the same volume as a hood fan. This is a simple and easy to use air crisper that get the job done. There are other options out there that are bigger, more technologically advanced and have more options. But this one is definitely the most simple and straightforward option.
