Quality, Easy Installation and Use
Stroller and Car seat review—I am a new mom expecting twins. When it comes to basically anything I do a lot of research before I make a final decision. I bought the graco duo glide double stroller back when it was on sale around Black Friday. It was fairly priced and had a lot of good reviews. My husband and I put it together. It was very easy and did not take long at all. We practiced folding it, opening and lifting it in and out of my Mazda CX 5. It just fits sideways in the back of my Mazda. I’m a smaller person and I can honestly say that this stroller is not very heavy and easy to use, I love the storage underneath too. We finally purchased the graco snugride snug lock 35 lx with click connect after narrowing it down to 3 infant graco car seats. We went to a few different stores to be able to see them in person and see how heavy they were going to be. This car seat was definitely the lightest out of all of them. It’s about 9lbs compared to 17pounds or more. The design is very sleek and soft, also it does come with a newborn insert. I also love the safetly harness and it comes with seat belt covers so that they don’t rub against their neck. After doing a little research to see how both car seats snap into the stroller, we got them in. The very front was easy to snap down onto the cup holder tray. The one closest to the back of the stroller was a bit tricky. The arm bar is actually hidden under the cup holder tray. So you have to snap that off and the arm bar is good to go to snap the car seat down on it. Overall I can’t wait to be able to use these items with our twins. I’m very satisfied with the quality so far and the easy installation.

It’s a good one!
It’s a little difficult to lift up and out of the base but it’s very secure and stable so we love it a lot. We took it to a safety technician and she said it was a good model and showed us how to properly install it. The headrest is adjustable as they grow. Baby seems comfortable when we’re riding in the car. Straps work well but one always seems to be longer than the other—that might just be user error. The canopy is nice in the Texas sun, has great coverage. Haven’t had to use the bug net but did test it out and it’s a little weird to get fitted over the car seat so that there’s no gap for bugs to get in. Overall very pleased.

Well made
This is a well made car seat. Fits Graco Modes Pramette stroller frame. We had no problem with the installation in the car. Easy to clean, the padding can be cleaned in the washing machine and air dries quickly.

Solid Car Seat, but I Upgraded for Better Newborn Head Support
Summary: I tested the standard SnugRide SnugFit and found it solid, easy to work with, and well built, but I personally felt I needed stronger newborn head support and decided to upgrade to the DXL version. This is a dependable seat overall, with a smooth leveler and sturdy shell. Full Review: I originally bought the standard SnugRide SnugFit because I wanted something lightweight, easy to install, and safe for a newborn. My main concern has always been preventing head bobbing, so I opened the seat to test the fit, adjustability, and insert design before committing to it. Right away, the seat felt sturdy. The base and carrier shell didn’t flex when handled, and the level indicator reacted every time I moved the seat, which reassured me that the recline fluid was functioning correctly. When I tried adjusting the headrest height, I learned you really do need to stand behind the seat for a smooth adjustment. It’s just something worth noting during setup. The fabric felt high quality, the padding was even, and the harness tightened and loosened without sticking. As a whole, it’s a typical Graco experience that feels solid, reliable, and familiar to work with. In the end, I personally felt I needed stronger newborn head support than what comes with the standard insert, which is why I chose to upgrade to the DXL version. Pros: • Sturdy shell that feels secure and well built • Level indicator moves easily and accurately • Harness tightens and loosens smoothly • Standard newborn insert stays in place with anchoring loops • Lightweight and simple to handle Cons: • Headrest height must be adjusted from behind the seat for a smooth movement Incompatibilities: • The DXL newborn headrest pad does not attach to the standard SnugFit model, since the standard insert uses loops and the DXL version does not Overall, the standard SnugFit is a dependable infant seat that performs as expected. I personally felt I needed stronger newborn head support, so I chose the DXL model instead, but if the standard insert meets your needs, this is a solid and well-made choice.

My favorite car seat
I love this car seat! We bought it for our 3rd and it's held up incredibly well. He's 19 months now and just outgrew the limits, but it'll be great for our next one. It has one run in the fabric where it got snagged, but no pilling. The padding is sufficient and quite comfortable. It was able to fit across the back seat of my 2020 Kia Niro with 2 other Graco boosters, so it's not bulky. The recline is perfect. The straps are easy to adjust, and removing the cover to wash is as easy as it can be. Car installation is a snap: the new bases are easy and very secure.
