So far so good. We received the letter opener timely and undamaged. There was one small part that had to be screwed on with no problems. Testing the machine, it seems to work very well and is relatively quiet for a machine of this type. It is fast and I believe will open the volume it claims to be able to. It is also pretty compact for a machine of this type. Unless things go south later, I would recommend you purchase this machine. It was a heck of a deal compared to purchasing it directly from Martin Yale.

I purchased this on my personal Amazon account for my work. My work is managing growing Lockbox operation and had worn out the two small letter openers we inherited when we added the funtion. This new one allows us to get past the mundane job of opening mail and to the real focus, preparing deposits. We had a bit of an issue about a week after it arrived but were able to have the local Martin Yale tech make minor adjustments and we are off to the races. We are pleased with the performance of this purchase.

Due to COVID-19, my office manager requested I purchase this item as she is the only one currently processing our incoming mail at this time. Because we receive a high volume of incoming mail, she loves this machine as it saves time for her in opening our mail.

Awesome letter opener for the price! It's a little on the loud side but not bad.

Machine is very quick , but have to be careful when running a thin envelope . Cutter will split half envelope .

We have to replace every 4 years running 12,000 per month. Blades are expensive and a nightmare to replace when required

Purchased for slicing open mail at work. Only last a few days. I would write a worse review but the machine stopped working so quickly it didn't give me enough time to find someone else to complain about.
