Worth the price great addition to child’s wheelchair
Works very well on my daughter’s wheelchair. We got this to help keep her out of the sun at outdoor events. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Picked this one because of the size and how it attaches. Durability: Reasonably durable. As durable and you expect an umbrella to be. Color: The color is fun and vibrant Size: perfectly sized for my 5 year olds wheelchair. I’d go bigger if it were for an adult wheelchair Build quality: good quality, has held up to wind and being tossed around the back of our vehicle Value for money: This is definitely worth the money. Keeping the sun and heat off our child who has a hard time with regulating her body temperature.

No complaints! Functions well, mechanism works great, looks nice.
This is a nice piece of gear. The fabric seems like nice quality (we got the navy colored one). The neck of the umbrella has three different "joints" where you can adjust angle, which come in very handy to fine tune your shade. The clamp seems well made. We have to use a flat chair arm (no tubing to clamp to), but even so, it's gripping well. It also seems truly water repellent, so rain doesn't drop through it. The sliding mechanism up inside the umbrella is nicely designed, locking in open position with a satisfying little "snap," but collapsing back down very easily when you want to close it. There's a velcro strap that can be used to bind the umbrella to the pole when not in use, but we find it's quicker and easier to just pull the nice, provided nylon cover down over the closed umbrella (which essentially accomplishes the same thing). I bought it for my wife, who really likes it. So, all aces!

Other reviews are spot on, and overall this umbrella is good (but not a miracle)
If you've read the other reviews, then nothing will surprise you with this umbrella. The various points of articulation work pretty well, although some are stickier than others (and simply require some wiggling during adjustment). There is that clamp problem where there's a metal nut that can come out if you loosen the clamp almost all the way. The superglue fix others have described here is easy, but you have to do it BEFORE you lose the nut. Just make sure you don't accidentally glue your clamp into a static position. As for the umbrella as an umbrella, it has made the beach much more bearable. I originally got it because I'm pregnant and right now my skin is too sensitive to handle the sun exposure I would normally be fine with. I've taken this umbrella to the beach multiple times, and it's great. It clamps right to the back of my chair and is easily adjustable as the sun moves, or if you move your chair. I also clamped it to my deck railing to create some shade while my husband was grilling this summer, and that worked pretty well. It doesn't cover a huge area, but if you're in one spot, it'll do. Mild winds don't faze the umbrella. In moderate winds or with gusts, you need to be aware of wind direction so you don't accidentally create a sail out of your umbrella. As with any umbrella, it will catch in a stiff breeze. The Sport-Brella never threatened to break or invert, but the strongest beach winds did cause it to shift/slide from its clamped position. Basically, this thing isn't wind-proof, so don't expect it to be. I imagine that I will continue to use this at the beach in the future, since it does wonders for not getting too hot (or getting burnt after forgetting to reapply sunscreen, which I've done several times). I also like that the clamp is so versatile, since it can attach to other chairs, a stroller, or a deck railing. I can only imagine how useful it will be if I'm taking my impending kid somewhere in a stroller and there's strong sun or some rain. Being able to protect yourself without taking up your hands is clutch. Definitely glad I made this purchase.

5 star umbrella
This umbrella is super dupe durable and useful. clipping to a wheelchair , stadium chair, anywhere, never had any issues with it. very sturdy as well. i will surely buy more of these. my mom loves it too. its so easy to turn from left to right to block the sun without taking it off from the set handle. Now i know why the umbrella is shaped as it was, to avoid flipping when there's strong wind.

Upgraded My Shade Game
I started with the smaller version of the Sport-Brella a few years ago, and it served me well for quick trips to the park or a casual beach day. But recently, I decided to upgrade to the larger size, and wow, I didn’t realize how much I needed that extra shade until now. 1. PERFECT FOR THE PALE CREW: As someone who practically lives in sunscreen (yes, I’m the person who looks like Casper the Friendly Ghost on the beach), having reliable, portable shade is non-negotiable. This bigger version gives me more coverage, which means I don’t have to keep moving around to stay in the shade—it’s a total game-changer for sunny days. 2. PORTABILITY THAT MAKES SENSE: Even with the bigger size, it’s still easy to fold up and carry. It doesn’t take up a lot of space, and the universal clamp makes it super versatile. I’ve attached it to chairs, coolers, and even my patio railing for extra shade. 3. SMALL QUIRKS, BIG BENEFITS: Let’s be real—no product is perfect. The larger size means it’s a bit more wobbly in the wind, and if sand or moisture gets into the rotating mechanism, it can get stuck (pro tip: shake it off and dry it out after a beach day). But honestly, those little hiccups don’t outweigh how much this thing improves my outdoor experiences. 4. A SHADE WORTH SHARING: I’ve even lent it to friends at outdoor events, and they always ask where to get one. It’s one of those products that makes you feel a little more prepared and comfortable when you’re outside for hours. FINAL THOUGHTS: Upgrading to the bigger Sport-Brella Versa-Brella has been such a win for me. More shade, more comfort, and still super easy to use. Whether you’re at the beach, camping, or just chilling in your backyard, this is the portable shade you didn’t know you needed—until you try it!

GREAT PROTECTION FROM THE SUN!!
This sun umbrella has been very useful on our last cruise. I love the color, it is very nautical blue. It is adjustable and you can attach it very easy to your lounge chair, hubby was worried that it would not fit on our luggage bag, but it did fit on our big suitcase. We took two one for me and one for him. We received lots of compliments, we were asked where we got them. Not heavy at all, super light. Yes it can take some light wind, worth every penny!!

They ARE JUNK NOW..DONT BUY
Well I WAS buying these things EVERY YEAR AND RECOMMENDING THEM TO ANYBODY WITH A STROLLER ON MY MOBILITY SCOOTER PATH RIDES...NOT ANYMORE..bought 3 cuz the VERY THIN wire that holds cluster of arms out.. breaks easy GEEZ PAPER CLIP WOULD BE STRONGER ..Breaks after using it for less than a year..so i stock up..bought 3 at cheap price of 23 bucks a pop unbeknownst to me that they changed the design pattern and made them even cheaper..floppy extention of umbrella..whole umbrella collapses down to original position..one click at a time. And the tightening mechanism that holds it to my mobility scooter handlebar is weaker than a babys grip...so you are fighting the wind grabbing it cuz it wont stand straight and flopping around like a boat sail. Returned ALL 3 IN ONE BOX CUZ OF COURSE I HAVE TO SEND IT BACK VIA UPS OFFICE THATS CROWDED..THAT WAS LABLED WITH ALL 3 RETURNS BUT NOW THEY SAY THEY DIDNT RECIEVE THE OTHER 2 IN THE BIG HEAVY BOX i sent back to em..charged for 2 umbrellas i dont even get to keep now. I sent them a message TELLING THEM THE OTHER 2 WERE IN THE HEAVY BOX I SENT THEM AFTER SPENDING HOURS TRYING TO GET AHOLD OF THEIR COMPANIES MESSAGE CENTER..FINALLY DID AND EVEN THAT WAS REBUFFED..I GUESS CUZ THEY NEVER SENT A MESSAGE SAYING THEY RECIEVED THAT EITHER.. TO SAY IM PIZZED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT CUZ I USED TO LOVE THEIR UMBRELLAS..FLAWS IN ALL FOR 10 YEARS AND 12 FLAWED UMBRELLAS WORTH..BUT NO MORE. ALL OF EM BIG PIECES OF JUNK NOW...ALONG WITH THEIR RETURN DEPARTMENT. Tells you how bad they were that i didnt even want to keep any of them at the cheapest pice theyve been.. in years.
