You honestly couldn't buy this much paper for the price let alone an ink cartridge that would be able to cope with the sheer amount of information packed into this massive book.I think it might take a lifetime to comment on how valuable this book is as a resource material - I can only assume from the background checks I did before i purchased it that it has stood the test of time for a very good reason.Well presented, fantastic quality for the money. I'm still in awe of how much of a book you receive for what it costs. Quite incredible!

By far the best concordance, and this updated version is even better. But it is nicknamed "Strong's Exhausting Concordance" because of its weight! You will not want to carry it around for long. Can't be helped. of course, without the print becoming too small or the paper too thin.Strongs is widely respected, and although his interpretations of some of the original Greek and Hebrew words may be less than perfect, the discrepancies are well known and documented, and people who take their Bible seriously do tend to stick with Strong's numbering system, which has always worked well.If you need a printed concordance, this is it. Don't waste your money on inferior competitors. But do consider MySword for Android on your phone, which has much of the functionality of Strong's built in, if you need portability.

I have never ordered a second hand book before so was not sure what to expect. It came via the amazing Prime in a box that was just the right size and is in good condition. The inscription inside said that a son bought it for a Christmas present for his Mum ten years ago. It has been lovingly used and I intend to keep that going. I will consider getting used books again especially if they are expensive items. Thankyou.

Good concordance - but don't like the Words of Christ in red which I find distracting and also difficult to read in some lights. Why not simply do it all in black type? For this reason I sent it back.

I just purchased this, and it arrived today. At first, I was disappointed that it "was not accurate" after reading Sandra Freely's review that it was missing an entry on Luke. But I chose to buy it anyway, figuring it's probably more accurate than my old Strong's and has more features. I appreciated the time she took to write this, but after looking it up myself, I realized she was mistaken. This concordance is based on the KJV, which translates Luke as "Lucas" in Philemon 24, which is why it wasn't listed under "Luke." Sandra was probably using a translation other than the KJV.Great concordance, and well worth the money! It really goes beyond any other concordance you can get, and I own several. I don't read the KJV, but unfortunately a product with all these features is not available for my translation. The quality is also excellent. It's good and sturdy, despite being the "value" edition. Nothing flimsy about it.

Oh, God has blessed me with this condordance of Bible. Oh boy, you go and knock yourself out with it. God is good. You can get into how God uses HIs word to teach His way.

the print in the "larger Print" is so tiny I can hardly read it. I realize that it is a large book and to make the print large would make the book very large. But I would rather have two books that I can actually read then one that I can not see.

It's definitely more than anyone needs, though there are people who always have issues with something no matter what. the only thing I would say that I don't like about it is it's supposed to be large print it is definitely NOT large print the print is TINY smaller than the average Strong's concordance I REPEAT DO NOT BELIEVE THE COVER; THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS LARGE PRINT IN THIS EDITION. THE PRINT IS TINY. other than that it's a Strong's concordance you get a quality product

Strong's is a complete and serious concordance of both Hebrew and Greek translations of the Bible. This is a serious book. I have assumed leadership of both Bible Study and Adult Sunday School in my Church, and just using the "handout" materials seemed like a cheat. I want to ensure I am representing the Bible accurately and also completely. To that end, Strongs is a tool that was recommended to me and is NOT for the casual user. It is not formatted to be simple, but it is formatted to allow the most accurate information they can get into one book. Often, different Bible translations will have different words to the same verse. Strong's provides the best way to narrow that down to the best definition based on accurate translation with no theological bias involved.Be warned: There is a serious learning curve in using it. How the sections are laid out, the fact that the Hebrew section reads right to left instead of left to write, and the amazingly small print (where do they get a font with THAT small of a stinking number anyway??) all assure you that if you do not use it often, you will need to double and triple check yourself to be sure you are not looking at the wrong reference number or even the wrong verse.This is for someone who enjoys the challange of reading scripture. If you are just beginning to read the Bible or are looking for a more easy to use concordance, there are dozens of other options that may be more to your needs. But if you are looking for a complete reference that will show as many sides of the translations as is possible and where in the Bible every use of the word "love" is, this is your book. I have used it numerous times since I recieved it, and find it to be just what I need to ensure I am challenging both those I lead in study and myself to ensure our theology is in line with Biblical intentions, not just church doctrine. That is important to me.Be sure to use with an open mind. This concordance will put scripture into proper historic context. It will change the way you look at the Bible.

I bought this for my dad, who has macular degeneration. He loves it!! He has been unable to do as much research as he wanted, but this large print edition changed everything for him. THANKS!!

I purchased this Strong's Concordance for my cousin who just started reading the Bible about a year ago. I'm a Theology major so we've shared some interesting conversations about what the Word says and what people think it means...Unfortunately, sometimes bad hermeneutics, homiletics, or exegesis can cause a lot of misunderstanding... Basically, you need to really study the Word to understand it correctly. Since the Bible was originally written in Greek and Hebrew, the translation can easily be misunderstood and even at times mis-preached.This is the Concordance I personally use and recommend to others. Excellent tool and easy to use (although, as another reviewer pointed out, some may need a magnifying glass).I'm uploading a photo of the one I purchased, from the seller, Bookinista Books because I had an added blessing. Very exhaustive concordance, but 'larger print edition' is kind of a joke. Some of the content still requires a magnifying glass to be legible. Wish it was available as an E-book.

Exactly what I wanted and needed. I have always like and used the Strong Concordance but as I've grown older it has been harder for me to see the fine print in the standard edition. This version has the same content but with larger print so I can continue my study of the bible. I know that it does not contain all the information that is in the standard version (I did a comparison) but for the majority of the research I do it has everything I need and more.

Our family has always had a Strong's Concordance on our shelf, and it is probably our most used reference for the Bible. The Exhaustive Concordance has the words in the BIble so that you can look up the Scriptures and it has Greek/Hebrew definitions as well. So, for example, let's say I want to find a verse and I remember a couple words out of that verse. I can look up the words that I know, see all the places that word is written in the Bible, and find the verse that I am looking for. Or, for another example, let's say I want to find verses about love. I can look up love and see all the times that word is written in the Bible. And if I want to know the definition of love, I can look up the original Greek or Hebrew words and see the original definitions. It is a very handy reference tool.

It is one of the Best books any believer could ever own! You are easily able to read it. It has all the words you need to look up any word in the Bible. It gives you scripture in Greek & Hebrew which is the original text of the Bible. This helps you understand the Bible better!
