ion Swimmer's Shampoo, Removes Buildup from Chlorine and Minerals, Sulfate Free, Vegan

I love this shampoo. It really worked on my green hair. We travel constantly and the water is hard so my hair builds up the minerals in the water. But I used this and it took out the green in one shampoo. Now I use it once a mo th just to keep it from turning green again. It really conditions and has given my hair more moisture

Both of my girls swim competitively (9 and 11 years old with long thick brown hair). They each swim 4 days a week with 1.5 hour sessions, plus almost weekly swim competitions. They say this shampoo has helped their hair after being in the chlorine pools. Keeps is soft and smooth. Will purchase again!

I swim five days a week sometimes more and my hair was really dried out my beard too. I use this after swimming not only my hair but also on my beard and it works pretty well. You can’t beat the price it’s like half the price and twice as much in the bottle as the other products that I looked at in the same category it’s a nice smell to it. It’s not overpowering subtle And I will continue to use it and recommend it to anybody

Bought this upon recommendation from salesperson at beauty supply place, because my daughter’s hair was getting straw like and greenish from the pool. Worked great for removing chlorine, softening hair, returning it to natural color. Now I use it too after swimming. Couple things: it is not moisturizing but it’s also not in my experience particularly drying. If your hair still feels straw like or stiff, repeat (wash twice) periodically. Might be remaining chlorine causing the issue. It may not moisturize but it does soften. Also makes my hair shiny, but it’s really blonde in summer so more noticeable. Darker in winter and I only use this once a month or so in winter.

Works as described

When I was on the swim team when I was younger, my hair turned slightly green and was really brittle from 8 hours a week practices. After taking some years off, I started swimming again about a year ago and this time I've been using this and the matching Ion products, and my hair is softer than ever and no color changes. It works great and gets the pool smell out and I love that it's vegan. You'd think it'd be impossible to find vegan swimmer-friendly shampoo and conditioner, but here it is in all its glory. I can't imagine not using this stuff now.

It’s exactly what we wanted for my son hair since he swims. It’s to bad it leaked in the box but thankfully they put a plastic bag around it.
