Does the job for shorter races
I bought this in advance of my first half marathon and I wish I'd gone for the four-bottle version because I ran out of water and had to risk the iffy fire hydrant/trashcan water the last few miles. (No ill effects though!) That isn't the product's fault. I just underestimated my needs. For a shorter distance, this is a decent option compared to carrying a water bottle - especially now that it's getting colder where I live.I initially tried to wear it lower on my hips (like where I wear regular pants) but I found that it moves around a lot less if I wear it around my natural waist. This is fine for a daily run, but in a race, it means wearing the bib on my chest. This is ok for my build. I don't know that it would work well for busty girls though.I almost wish this thing had two pockets. There's an extra zippered pouch inside the pocket to hold your key. If you're just carrying a single key, it's fine but it really won't accommodate a keyless entry remote if you want to carry anything else.Something else that annoys me about that: I like to carry lip balm when I run. So if I have a key in the inner pouch, and a GU and a lip balm in the main pouch it's really easy for one item to fall out when I'm going for the other.I've heard friends complain that the Velcro closures can rip up tech shirts. I have not had any issues with that. I always loosen the belt, attach the Velcro in the front being careful to perfectly line up the two halves. Then I flip the closure around to the back and tighten the belt to comfort. If I'm wearing a nylon safety vest, I'm not even that careful because the Velcro can't hurt that. One last thing: my young kids are kind of obsessed with the bottles and one of them chewed on the spouts changing its shape just enough that it will leak if I have to bend over to retie a shoe lace or something. Just an FYI, parents.

Great belt for the price
I have been training for my first full marathon and wanted to trip a hydration belt to use for my long runs. I was looking at retail stores and just couldn't stomach spending $60 + on something i might not like. I have been use this belt for about a month and did several 15 to 20 mile runs with it and so far it is great. I went with this one because it had the bigger bottles and I am glad i did. The only downfall is that the pounch is small so it won't really fit my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) along with a few snacks but that is ok.

Dropping bottles - elastic deteriorated in less than a year
This is my second FuelBelt, and I purchased it because the four-bottle system I had was uncomfortable and, frankly, unnecessary for the distances I'm doing (half-marathon).Initially, I was happy with the setup. The bottles were familiar, I could stash my keys, ID, and phone (Nexus 5 is a stretch to fit), I could shove a hat or even a light windbreaker into the rear bungee. With winter, I did more indoors work and only recently resurrected this belt.On a run last month, one of the bottles fell out while I was hitting higher tempo on my fartlek interval. I chalked it up to being a bit too aggressive. However, a few days ago, both the bottles fell out simply while running downhill as I was warming up. Then they fell out again. And again. I emptied the bottles, ran home, ditched the belt, and continued. When I had a chance to look at the belt that afternoon, I noticed that the short elastic pieces that attach to the bottle holders to the belt (the orange plastic pieces) had lost all elasticity, with the visible elastic bands snapped and loose. In less than a year, the elastic had completely deteriorated around the bottle holders, making the belt useless. The belt is not available for return to Amazon and is outside of the 60-day warranty on the FuelBelt website. I recommend looking elsewhere - I just ordered the Nathan Trail Mix. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009KRR660/ref=pe_385040_30332200_TE_item

Great for marathon training
I have been using this belt for a month and I have put great use into this item. I am training for my first marathon and so far so good. Outside of the fact that the pouch is small and you can only fit small items such as a couple of credit cards, a few single keys, or holds one bag of GU chomps. I am a petite woman and was able to tighten the straps and velcro to fit my small waist. Overall I am happy that I purchased this item on amazon and not spend the extra money in purchasing this at a speciality store.

Its ok
The first run I went on with this was 7 miles. I wanted something for my longer runs but nothing to crazy. For the first 4 miles I was having to adjust and figure out how to keep the straps from loosening up as I ran, I finally ended up cinching it down tight and it stayed in place. Other than that I would say that it is a pretty good little pack. The pocket pouch is kind of small but it will fit a cell phone and keys or a few energy gels and tissue paper.

My constant running companion :)
This goes with me on every run that I go on that is longer than around 20 minutes. The water bottles stay in place and hold a good amount to last me up to around 2 hours (assuming the weather isn't too hot). I love the fact that there are two zipper pockets -- one is the perfect size for keys; the other holds my ID, a tissue or two, and my Cliff jellies. Finally, I use the elastic bands to secure an external phone pouch.Since I have a very small waist (26"), I need to wear this so that the bottles or on my front side, otherwise my elbows hit them as I run. Other than that, though, this works very well and I'm quite happy with it!

Like it except it can leak
This is a decent hydration belt with a good comfort level. It doesn't ride up which is key. I do however find that when the bottles are full it tends to drip water. If I spent a lot more on another belt perhaps it wouldn't leak but this is definitely worth the cost.

Used for first marathon
Loved this belt! It worked well during my training and during my first marathon. The pouch was just big enough to fit my iPhone 4s without a case, and a few snacks. If there is one thing I could change it would be to have this bigger so both the phone and refueling snacks could fit easily. The water bottles were big enough to hold just enough water for my training without adding too much extra stuff. And it fit really well around my hips without slipping. The adjustment will fit a variety of people. I'm a size 6-8 and it had room both to go smaller and quite a bit larger.

Great belt for great price
Really pleased with this hydration belt and would recommend it.Sits comfortably around my waist, doesn't loosen over the course of my runs (Anywhere from 10-20km). The bottles sit securely, and have a good spout. The storage pocket is great for energy gels, and car keys... no space for a cell phone or mp3 player on top of those items. You could easily attach them to the belt if you so desired. My only gripe is that the strap you pull to tighten the belt has nowhere to tuck in on the left side, but I may just use a large paperclip to prevent it from brushing on my arm. Not a major issue. Also, the price compared to other belts I've looked at is very competitive.(Bonus, I received my package within 2 days of ordering it! )

sitzt gut
