Bought a 1 micron filter previous to this, and it was garbage. Barely filtered out anything - this one instantly cleared up my liquids!Edit: after only a month and a bit it fails at clearing anything. Not really sure what's going on so will try another one of the same type .. maybe defect.

I have previously bought this filter from my local supplier at what I now find is an extortionate price.Can't beat this price fir the same product.

After using a a particular brand of carbon filter in a standard 10 inch housing for years which tripled in price for whatever reason I've tried various filters. All I'm looking for is taste of chlorine reduction.I was caught out by some block filters which don't reduce taste completely - apparently designed to be used in RO and multi filter systems.Tried this one. Works perfectly. Lovely 'tasteless' water and great cuppas again.

I'm very happy with this item as it makes my tap water tasteless.

I fitted this filter inline to the mains water in my utility sink and slowed the rate down , we could drink the tap water and always had to buy bottle water …., not anymore. Out water tastes now like it just came straight from a mountain stream . Fantastic

Without a filter our water tastes noticeably chemically treated, with this it tastes very neutral. So far so good. Flow is 2 litres a minute with good mains pressure through a sink side tap.

I recently installed an inline water filter housing and using this filter, seems to be working well.
