YOT Interior Inside Door Handle Latch Cable FITS 93-11 Ford Ranger

Worked well on rear door. You'll need some mechanical skills to install. Once you see how it all works it's not bad but takes a little time. Good product and was the fix I needed. Updated, I forgot to mention that I had to flipflop cable original setup, you will need top cable to closest point on handle and same for bottom, but it will work fine. It is a shade short for original set up on one of the latches.

1" shorter than OEM part. Trust me, 1" makes a difference. Thought I screwed up and messed up one of the 4 cables I ordered. Ordered a replacement. That's when I realized these cables are 1" shorter than the OEM. It's either a Quality Control Length problem, or, they simply do not fit both latches on the doors. I give up. Ordering the OEM parts from Ford. That way I know it's right!

Ordered 4 to replace all cables. You have to flip the routing the cables. Top will need to go into top of handle instead of bottom, the bottom cable will need to go to bottom of handle. A little of sanding down the plastic coating at the ends and the upgraded aluminum ends fit perfect (plastic costing a bit to thick) and allow for better durability and easier installation. On the old cables just remove latch, cut the wire and fish the old ball out. 2 small flat head screwdrivers and holding your tongue in the right position and I was able to get these fixed to the latch in about 5 min and ready to be installed to vehicle. Takes a little bit of extra work, but these will be a game changer and allow the door to function better than factory.

I gave a 4 star because about 1inch short for my application, but still worked. Made well.

These will "fit" after alot of adjustments are made. You do have to reroute the cables, top to top and bottom to bottom. The grooves on the ends are not wide enough to fit the latch on the door or the locks in the handle. I had to use a Dremel tool to widen the grooves. The plastic is also too big around to fit the ends you need for repairs. I had to trim the plastic off and crimp the ends on.
