In terms of functionality they are no different from any other RJ45 connector. What makes them different is that the wires protrude from the end of the connector making it much easier for amateurs like me to crimp them. Once crimped you cut off the excess wire. A lot easier than standard RJ45 connectors, much less likely to get a bad connection.

Q: Do these connectors work with the Klein pass-thru crimping tool?

If Klein looks like all the other blue handle units I don't see why not. And even if doesn't then RJ45 are built to a standard crimp pattern, the only thing here is the long ends go through the plug where they are trimmed off.
