I originally purchased this to be part of my camping bag. I got it mostly as a back-up lighter (I've got to have a Zippo, but the fuel evaporates quickly, so never a sure thing) and secondarily for the flashlight. I used it on one weekend trip, then promptly forgot about it until we went camping again this year, when I re-discovered it and began to really appreciate it as an everyday tool. For camping it worked great. It works brilliantly to light the gas for a propane burner, and the flashlight is super convenient and bright enough for both walking to the tent and holding in your mouth as you rummage through your backpack :-). But keeping it handy as a tool around the house since then, I've been impressed. The flashlight on my phone is convenient but not always ideal, and this one easily fills in the gaps when needed. As autumn is approaching and I've pulled out candles in the evening, I've found the lighter to work better on candles than I would have expected. Bring on the hygge! I like that it's rechargeable, and no issues with the battery life. I used it as much as I needed this year when camping on the charge I initially gave it last year. I've charged it once since, and it's continued to do everything I've needed it to in the couple of months since. A fun little tool that I'll use for a long time!

These are very nice lighters. They work great and require no fuel. The flashlight function is very bright for it's size. Recharges in less than an hour. As with any rechargeable device recharging depends on how much it is used. Well worth the purchase price.

I purchased one of these because of my smoking habit. But I now use it more for a handy flashlight than anything else. A day doesn't go by that I don't use it. It is light and durable. I don't use the whistle or the lanyard. As a lighter, it works great in the wind. It won't take the place of your standard lighter for other uses like melting something, shrinking shrink-tube, etc. But it lights my smokes just fine if I get the whole tip in the line of "fire." But it's also a handy flashlight. I'm constantly pulling it out of my pocket (where it resides every day) to illuminate this and that. Everyone knows that I always have a flashlight on me. I don't like the fact that the cover needs to be open in order to charge it, but that's probably required in order to be water proof. I have four of these now, and it's really nice that they have changed it from the old Micro-USB to USB-C so that I don't attempt to plug it in backwards. The cons: (1) The reason that I have four of them now is because the battery gets weaker over time. I sometimes swap them out more than once a day. New, the battery life is fine, but after a few months of usage, the built-in battery doesn't last so long. (2) It might be just me, but the flashing function is irritating to myself and others. I wish that I could skip past (or disable) the flashing flashlight. It is well worth the price, although I am not a fan of having to purchase a new one every few months.

Bought a few of these as stocking stuffers and these lighters are pretty cool. They charge instead of needing butane. The only issue with these lighters is the flame is very small and the lighter wide, making it difficult to light some candles. It's definitely meant more for smoking. They seem durable and function exactly the way they're suppose to. There's a flashlight on the bottom and you can lock the lighter closed for safety. There's also a lanyard so a few people I have it to hung it where they smoke the most. Great price, especially for saving you money on butane. Most refillable lighters break quickly anyway.

This lighter is awesome. You are getting a lot of function and cool factor for you money.

I bought this for myself and my father. I must say we are fairly amused by the quality - it exceeded our expectations. Pros: Packaging: The lighter kit came in a real nice box that can be wrapped in gift wrap. Quality: The lighter itself is high durability and quality. The outer layer is high grade, which resists scratches and impacts. I would not worry about dropping it or pampering with it. The lanyard with the whistle is premium grade. I would expect to pay $4-5 for this quality lanyard alone. Features: The flashlight is great - it is extremely bright (has to be about 800 lumens from this tiny light). It is as bright as my outdoor flashlight. Great in case of danger with the strobe. The lighter has 2 safety locks. Also, once turned on, the ignition has 7 second timeout to prevent overheating. The coils are powerful and set anything on fire quickly. The charging is quick with light indicator (as wells the light turns on when using the lighter and blinks when battery is low). The whistle is loud and simple to use - it is orange, so easy to spot in case of emergency. Value: The features, quality, and items are worth more than what I paid for. I think this lighter is a bargain. Just thinking the lanyard being $4, and the flashlight being $13, you are getting more! I am going to be ordering more from Suprus. Cons: -None!

Lighter works really well. The flashlight is a neat feature, too.
