I like this better than the extension I've used since the last century, the kind that screws in to the inside of the cylinder. The outer mount is much easier to use. No issues in 6 weeks of continuous on and off use.

I purchased this braided metal hose for my Blackstone grill, and it works good. My previous rubber hose melted, became stiff, and cracked, so I highly appreciate the durability of this braided metal hose. The hose is very flexible and have had no issues so far.

Flame King makes the best stuff, high quality, great phone support, though it usually takes a day or two for them to return your call. I've bought other manufacturer's products to save money, but I always come back to Flame King.

I read a lot of reviews and horror stories about offbrand hoses so I decided to get a reputable brand and avoid the trouble. I bought this mostly to use with my portable Mr Heater so I wouldn't have to worry about having to swap the cylinder in the middle of the night and it worked flawlessly, no trouble at all. So far it's working great with every portable appliance I have tried it on. I'm thinking people having trouble with theirs might have gotten a defective unit. Time will tell how this stands up to frequent use.

If I had to go again, I would have gotten a standard rubber hose. This hose does exactly what it was made for, and seems very sturdy, so repeated kinks and bending probably won't affect this much of at all for many years. That said...every single time I use it I pinch myself in the damn hose, and I'm getting more and more frustrated. Like repeated papercuts. They don't *Hurt* but they hurt, and make you angry

I live alone, and use a tailgate style BBQ grill, for my year round outdoor cooking needs. Those 1 lb tanks get expensive, and don't have the confidence to refill them, being able to put a 20lb. tank on the grill is well worth the price of the hose just in money saved in not getting the small tanks. However, the weak link is the black plastic part that screws on to the tank. I find it breaks down in about a year after about a year of direct sunlight, so when you try to loosen or tighten when swapping out tanks, it often cracks, rendering the hose useless after about 10-14 months. I just always keep a spare hose in the closet in the dark, so it will most likely break when I have guests over.

Using this for my grill/stove and it's been perfect. No complaints.

Ordered this propane metal braided hose to use with the small propane tank that is used with my Mister Buddy heaters. I recommend this product to anyone in need of such a product.
