This is a nice rugged gear. But.... it's too heavy for my needs and offsets the cg too much. Went with a carbon fiber gear instead.

The matched set should be good for planes maybe up to 4 pounds, depending on how hard one hits the ground.

This gear is terrible. It looks good, but for 20 cents more they could have used 6061 aircraft aluminum or dural. The melted down beer cans this gear is made out of bends on the most gentle landing and you can straighten it out by hand. Way too soft. I would spend twice the money to get a landing gear that is durable

I'm trying to get a second hand foam board plane in the air and I needed to replace the wire landing gear that just wasn't doing the job. These were perfect and even though the wheels seem small, they work great even in longish grass. Very happy!
