Phonograph Turntable Ground Wire for Magnetic Cartridge Turntables, 6-ft Technic

This high quality ground wire works better than the super cheap wire that came with my Pioneer PLX1000 turntable. It provides better grounding and actually improved by listening experience by making the background slightly quieter. A good and inexpensive upgrade to my stereo system. Highly recommended.

My previous speakers went kaput a few months ago, and I’ve made do with a (I almost said "pair") mono Bluetooth speaker. I know, I know—that’s blasphemy. What do you want me to say? I had more pressing things going on, and it worked when I needed access to that sonic, body-moving goodness. But you know how it goes—uno can never replace dos. Once things settled, I was ready to get back to some of that stereo loveliness. I already had a set of gold-tipped RCA cables that included a ground wire, but they were a bit too short. Well, not really too short—just too short to be hidden inside the spine of my speaker stands. I don’t know about you, but I hate seeing wires suspended in the air like those red lanterns in Chinatown. Lanterns in a neighborhood = dopeness. In the living room = nightmare. So I stumbled on these 6-footers [ ] and ordered right away. The good thing is that they work as advertised—no hum or any other sonic disturbance can be heard. The negative? I guess it's not really a negative when analyzing these in isolation, but they’re still too short to route through my speaker stands and connect to my record player. I’m not going to deduct a star for that, as that’s mainly a fault of the speakers. While I really dig the speakers, they don’t have the ability to channel swap. Bummer, but not the end of the world. I’ll have to make do with the electrical-wire-in-the-street look until I can find a longer, high-quality ground wire. *No, I'm not going to a Home Depot/hardwire store to purchase industrial grade ground wire, so keep those suggestions to yourself. Respectfully.*

I had extremely loud hums coming from my stereo speakers, even though I connected the supplied grounds on my interconnects. Bought this wire to replace them. Miraculously, all of that humming was gone! Best $8 I've spent in quite awhile! I buy all of my own products and never accept freebies. This is just a great product that finally ended my issue.

This is a good quality wire with connections on each end, one for the turntable, the other for the receiver/preamp. It’s a great replacement for the wire that came with your turntable 40 years ago that is starting to look frayed and old. It eliminates the buzz caused by an ungrounded turntable, improving the sound quality, which is why all the old turntables came with them. Recommended!

god rid of my vinyl player hum

This cable is great quality, arrived fast and super easy to connect. I wish it could be a bit longer, but for my set up it was perfectly fine.
