best purple shampoo i’ve ever used (i’ve used a lot in the past) left it on for a minute and it toned my hair such a lovely even silvery,ashy blonde. my hair was pretty light but very yellow to begin with and this works wonders!!

I've tried a few silver shampoos to mixed results, often causing a short term blue or purple tone to the hair. But this product is different. After one usage the most bleached part of my hair was instantly more blonde. The roots, which have been bleached less, still had warm midtones. A 2nd application following day focusing on the roots restored their blonde too. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT PRODUCT!!!

Absolutely a step up from the previous purple shampoo I was using, that would only moderately tone and left my hair feeling dry. I'm seriously pleased with this. It's sulphate free, so it leaves my hair feeling exceptionally soft, almost like if I were bathing with a water softener installed in my house. There's no oily or greasy residue and I feel fine to keep styling my hair a day or two after washing. I have naturally dark blonde hair with a lot of natural red. I colour it lighter (medium blonde with lowlines) with an ashier tone, and I notice this has been doing great work in maintaining the tone and keeping my natural brassy colour at bay. I usually leave it on my hair about 5 minutes in the shower to really try to make it work. I also find I don't need to require too much to wash my long hair - a bit goes a considerable way. No staining on my tub, my facecloth, or even my microfibre shower curtain. It comes right off without issue for me, even if it was dried on. No staining on my hands or skin either, and I am very pale in winter! If I had any comment it's I'm not the biggest fan of the scent. My previous shampoo is inferior in other ways but smelled nicer. This is a bit strong in the shower and has sort of a chemical way of the smell, though it's not unbearable by any means - just not my favourite. It does mute a lot on your dried hair and the scent warms and relaxes considerably. But I am sold overall on this!

I love this purple shampoo for my overly blond highlighted hair that I thought was beyond repair. I tried the Redken purple shampoo first and found it so drying but this leaves my hair much softer and there is no staining on hands or shower. It maintains the color as much less brassy and I use it when I wash my hair, which os only twice a week. I use it with K18 molecular hair mask and a Color Wow conditioner and my hair is in better condition than ever. Highly recommend.

I have used this product in the past without issue. However, there must be too much colring or dye in the bottles I received because my hands and neck were purple after using. I did not leave on too long and it seemed to stain immediately.

This shampoo and conditioner are the best ever, it doesn’t damage my hair, it’s a very good investment. 100% recommended, I have been using for about 7 years now and I will not change it for anything.

I have purchased Pureology Purple Shampoo a few times. My hair feels smooth after washing. The colour of my hair also remains the same as if I just got back from the salon. It really helps to tone down the brassiness. Even though it's a bit expensive, I love the product because it works perfectly!
