Great Product with Excellent Operators Manual and Recipe Book
Update after30 Days: I am becoming more impressed as time goes by. In addition to flawless production of three recipes out of their recipe book, I sent KitchenArm a banana bread recipe I downloaded from the internet, and they made minor changes to simplify and customize it for their machine. It ran great. Just for grins, I also ran the recipe unchanged from the internet. It also produced a good looking loaf, but was a little bit less moist. I conclude from that, KitchenArm knows what they are doing and their machine is user friendly. Their free recipe customization service is great! To top it off, Tony from KitchenArm emailed me about a week later asking how well their customization worked. I have now traded a few emails with Tony asking questions, and he gives me detailed answers. For instance, I asked why I should shred instead of melt the butter and found out melted butter can have a saponification reaction with baking powder and baking soda. I doubt you get that kind of customer service from any other bread machine company. He is teaching me the why’s in addition to the how’s. **************** I did weeks of online research reading literally hundreds of user reviews before choosing the Kitchenarm. This machine had the lowest percentage of one-star (3%) and one of the highest percentage of five-star (81%) reviews on Amazon. I was most impressed by the large number of five-star reviews that cited outstanding personalized customer service. It comes with a thirty day free return or replacement policy and a two year warranty. The same day I ordered the machine, I received an email from Tony Simpson at Kitchnarm thanking me for my order, and he provided a list of suggestions for insuring successful bread baking. I emailed Mr. Simpson a question and received an answer the next day along with Amazon Prime delivery of my machine. The machine comes with a 45 page operators manual, and a 66 page recipe book that contains 77 custom recipes developed specifically for their machine. The yeast containing recipes list ingredient quantities required for 1, 1.5, and 2 lb loaf sizes. They also offer a webpage address where you can submit your own recipe, and they will attempt to customize it for running on their machine. They include step-by-step instructions for each recipe as well as pages of details on machine setup and operation, including trouble shooting. In the package is a sheet with a 2-D barcode you scan with your cell phone that takes you to their warranty registration website. Super easy to register the machine. Interestingly, I read one, 1-star review where the person complained they were returning the machine because it was too complicated. All I can say is, I believe the machine is incredibly easy to operate as long as you read the manual to understand and prevent common mistakes. The company has worked hard to explain how to operate their machine and successfully produce bread. The machine arrived well packaged. It is a good looking machine with a stainless steel and plastic outer case. Included with the machine are two kneading paddles, so you have a spare, and two sets of measuring cups and spoons, so you can measure dry and wet ingredients without cleaning in-between ingredients. I would strongly recommend you invest in a food scale, as accurately measuring quantities of flour and water are critical to your success. I purchased an Etekcity scale that was listed as the #1 best seller on Amazon, and it has been a great addition to my bread making. The sound of the machine kneading the bread is noticeable, as expected, but not objectionable. The machine did not vibrate or move across the counter. Kitchenarm strongly recommends you start out by producing your first loaf using the 1.5 lb plain white bread recipe. I did, and it came out great, except that, as expected, plain white bread doesn't have a lot of flavor. I am looking forward to experimenting with other recipes. My next trials will be rye and banana breads. I am just a beginner, but so far, I am very happy with my purchase.

Two year long-term review of Kitchenarm 29-in-1 Bread Machine
I purchased the Kitchenarm 29-in-1 after lots of research, and this bread machine turned out to be best kitchen related purchase ever for me. Bread machines mostly do the same basic things, but what sets Kitchenarm apart is the following: 1. Fool-proof recipe book. I LOVE the recipe book. It is so incredibly helpful for beginners. If you follow the instructions, it is hard to fail. 2. Outstanding customer service. Tony is wonderfully helpful with anything you need - from help with recipes to any issues with the machine. This company fully stands behind their product, which is unusual these days. I have used my bread machine 1-2x a week for over 100 weeks and I can report that my bread maker still works great. However, I do recommend replacing the bread pan after around 2 years depending on how much use it gets. The bread pans are inexpensive. Some tips that I have found helpful along my journey: - Get a kitchen scale and put your bread pan on it. Then simply calculate the additional weight needed for each ingredient and add the ingredients directly into the bread pan. When I first started breadmaking I had put the ingredients in separate bowls and weighed each one of them. You'll save yourself a lot of time and dishwashing by adding the ingredients directly into the pan. - Store the yeast in the fridge. Yeast tends to be an important variable. Using old / inactive yeast will significantly affect your results. - Buy a high quality bread knife for slicing the bread. It makes it the process so much easier and enjoyable. There was a slight learning curve but it now takes about 5 minutes of my time to a make a delicious and healthy loaf of bread. By making fresh whole wheat bread using locally milled flour, I feel I have made a major impact in my family's health and quality of life. I am confident that this machine performs the same basic functions as machines costing many times this amount. If you're thinking about getting this bread machine, just go for it!

Highly recommended, game-changer for baking bread, simple, cheap and easy!
Phenomenal results and is literally the best kitchen item I have ever purchased. I started getting into baking my own bread and it was a sloppy, messy, stressful endeavor with mixed results. With the Kitchenarm I turn out perfect loaves every single time, to include the very first one. The machine comes with a very well written and researched set of recipes that are precise down to the gram, and work perfectly. Here is the most important part of using this machine - get a good gram scale. Super important. Some things you will measure in TSPS & TBS but much will be in grams which is far more precise. Using the scale ensures a perfect loaf, every time. The menu system is easy to use, and you can set it up to alert you when to add nuts/fruit or when to pull the kneading paddle out. I use the banana bread recipe exactly as in the book, but add 120g of crushed nuts at the right time and get perfect results, photo included. The instructions tell you to start with the basic, simple loaf in recipe #1, and it is a good intro; mine turned out perfectly, and it is both super simple and delicious. I am also making sourdough with a starter and the recipes in the book are spot-on.

My previous attempts to make bread at home involved frozen bread dough or actually starting from scratch; neither approach yielded anything edible, or even recognizable. But this machine absolutely hits it out of the park. The bread is soft, fluffy, and wonderfully tasty; there's nothing like the taste and aroma of freshly baked bread, and the machine is worth purchasing for that reason alone. But it does a lot more than make your standard white bread; in fact, you can crank out 28 pre-programmed recipes, plus a 29th you-program-it cycle to give you the ultimate in creativity. There are beep alerts to advise you when to add additional elements like nuts or gummy bears (if desired) as well as when to remove the mixing paddle (if desired). In addition to making bread, the machine does a wonderful job making up things like pizza dough, which you then bake in a conventional oven. It will also make such unlikely items as jam and yogurt. I found that adjusting the temperature of the starting water made quite a difference in the degree that the bread rose; I had my best results using room temperature water, but you can get more rise out of your bread by starting with water around 90 - 100 degrees F. Cleanup is wonderfully easy, with the bread literally falling out of the bread pan. A quick wipe with a damp cloth is all that is required to keep the bread pan, and the rest of the machine, looking brand new. And a quick shout out to the seller. I buy a lot of stuff through Amazon, and this is literally the first time I've received an email from the seller, thanking me for my purchase and advising me that I had both a 30 day return policy and a 2 year warranty. I get the impression that the seller is an enthusiastic user of the product; it shows up everywhere, including the manual and the recipe book. Some bread machines offer to sell you a generic bread machine recipe book for big bucks; but this manufacturer has written a recipe book expressly for this model, and included it for free in the purchase price. They obviously care a lot about your user experience. Loading the machine takes less than 5 minutes, and is very straightforward. Start with water, add the oil, sugar and salt, add the flour (I bought flour intended specifically for making bread, and it's worked out great) and finish with the yeast. Place the baking pan in the breadmaker, give it a twist to lock it in place, and close the lid. The machine remembers your settings, even with the power plug pulled; so if you're using program 1 (for basic white bread) and have selected a 2 pound loaf with a dark crust, it'll remember that for next time. Hit start, and come back in about 3 and a half hours. The machine will beep when it's done, but honestly, you'll know from the aroma when the time is up. Your kitchen will smell like a custom bake shop. In closing... yeah. Buy this machine. It does pretty much everything a bread machine could be called upon to do, and several things that you'd never expect from a bread machine. It does all of this for hundreds of dollars less than the competition. It's well made, well thought out, and wonderfully engineered. You can't do better. So get one... and welcome to the aromatic, healthy world of home baked bread!

We are loving the bread and all the spares that ship with the product it is very easy to use and the results are fantastic. Instructions and menus are simple to follow whilst detailed and full of tips. My machine arrived with a fault on the lid so I contacted their customer services on a Sunday and they responded on a Sunday too. They were extremely apologetic and they simply dispatched another machine and told me to keep the old one for spares! Moreover it was only the lid that was a problem and that is detachable so I asked if I could by a new lid to make the original one workable. They sent that to me free of charge too! Two great machine for the price of one and my niece is very happy with her housewarming present. Thank you so much Tony Simpson!

What can I say but brilliant bread maker. Yes I have had 2 in the past, both different manufacturers, but this is fantastic coupled with the brilliant booklets on how to set up and recipes. Have read the very easy to read steps and recipes, (well done for those), and made the basics white and also the Sour Dough recipe. Delicious, fresh, chemical and additive free. Buy it now if you are looking to start making your own bread or looking fur a better model.

I’ve been using this Ktchenarm model weekly for almost 6 months. It works incredibly well with several types of bread. And whenever I have questions or issues, the customer service is amazing. If you are into baking your own bread (you should: they are healthier, easy to make and delicious), the Kitchenarm is an amazing purchase. Highly recommended!
