I bought this hat on a whim, but I have used it a TON since it came in last summer. I garden and spend a lot of time outside all summer, so keeping cool and protecting myself from the sun is important. I'm not usually a hat person, so I feel silly wearing it sometimes, but I have received SO many compliments - especially when I wear it to the pool. I most recently packed it for a beach resort vacation, so glad I brought it! It is nice and light-weight, and held up really well in the suitcase. It isn't too big, but enough to provide a good amount of shade on my face, neck, and shoulders. The ribbon adds a nice touch and helps keep it on even in the breeze.

This is the perfect ladies boater hat! It did come bent, but steamed out so easily! I added my own flowers and ribbon and it completed my Spring Dapper Day ensemble!

The hat is too big around to stay on my small head, even when I ty the ribbons. The straw also pulls my hair. I would have returned it, except I sort of lost it in my house for a bit. Now it's too late so I use it as decor.

The crown of the hat is way too shallow. It is cute but looks kind of goofy on sand doesn't offer any sun protection

So many compliments every time I wear it! I also once used it to gracefully hide a horrible allergic reaction I had to a setting spray so I could attend church and not be a major distraction! Very pretty and fancy! Good sun protection!

Het is perfect. A little more than I expected not at all flimsy. Perfect for that ad lib Victoriiana look and adjustable worth the wait.
