I wasn’t sure what to expect when ordering clothes online, but I’m really happy with this purchase. The material feels soft and breathable, and the fit is just right — true to size and flattering without being too tight or too loose. It looks just like the pictures and works well for both casual and slightly dressier occasions. After a few washes, the color and shape have held up nicely, which is always a plus. Great quality for the price — I’d definitely buy from this brand again!

Best shorts I’ve ever had fit great and most importantly they go just past the knee. Most shorts these days fit horribly and are way too short but these Volcom shorts are absolutely perfect. Good material also sturdy but lightweight. 10/10 score.

Love these shorts. They feel like board shorts but are not made from swimsuit fabric. They are sturdy, flexible, and perfect for everyday wear. They have a lower rise and a relaxed fit, and the fabric has just enough stretch to move comfortably. I have long legs, and they fall just below my knees. If you do not, they might look a little like culottes, but if the length works for you, they are fantastic.

Great shorts but, run large

I was looking for a pair of shorts that were comfortable, stylish, and durable, and these shorts absolutely fit the bill. They're soft, breathable, and have just the right amount of stretch. The waist is a great fit, and the pockets are perfect for holding my phone, keys, wallet, and the random shiny rock. The color is a great, versatile shade of charcoal that goes with everything. The shorts are perfect for a variety of activities, from a quick trip to the store to a weekend getaway with the family. They wash well and hold their shape, and they're comfortable enough to wear all day. These are a great purchase and I highly recommend them.

I bought these Volcom chino shorts for my husband, who rocks a solid dad bod and a strong commitment to comfort. I expected “meh,” but I got, “Whoa, who’s that stylish guy watering the lawn like he’s in a music video?” It was 22 inches long, which is great because I don't want to see those pale white thighs. These relaxed and stretchy shorts make him look like he knows what TikTok is (he doesn’t). They’re perfect for everyday wear, whether he’s grilling, napping, or pretending to fix something while holding a wrench like a prop. The fit is flattering, the quality is excellent, and the transformation? Legendary. He went from “weekend couch potato” to “casual backyard model” in one outfit change. I’m considering buying more just to keep the calm vibes going. If your man wants comfort but you want him to look like he didn’t just roll out of bed—these are the shorts. These are comfy and they fit very well on me. I'm a medium build 34 inch waist and it's very comfy.

I want to like these, but find myself annoyed with them every time I put them on. Pros: solid look, the fabric is comfortable, and build quality seems solid Cons: fabric attracts dust/dirt/detritus/lint like a magnet. So much so, that I’m tempted to use them in place of my Swiffer when cleaning. Sizing: I ordered 2 pairs, one is about a 1/2” narrower than the other. (Although this seems to a normal issue these days). Fit: I’m 5’ 11” 205 pounds 34 fits on the waist, but they’re just too tight in the hips, ass, and quads to be comfortable. Some may like this type of fit, I do not. I’m Gen X and grew up skateboarding, snowboarding and BMXing. I like a little room in my pants/shorts. If you train legs and squat, size up and have them tailored or find another brand.
