I used this SAE Y-splitter to hook up both my motorcycle amp and a phone charger at the same time, and it works exactly like I needed it to. The build quality feels solid, and the connections are snug, no loose ends or power drops so far. It made wiring a lot cleaner without needing to install a second power line. Great little tool if you’re running multiple accessories off one SAE port.

The cable works great. It allows me to hook up my water pump while my solar panel stays connected. Before I had to swap everytime I used it. It feels of good quality. The sae connection is wired+to red. Sometimes they wire it backwards. Overall I would purchase again.

This is a nice well made splitter that will work great for leaving my solar power charger hooked up while simultaneously leaving the battery connected. I got this for my generator for stand by power. I want to leave the battery connected so when the power goes out I can start the generator but I don't want the battery to be dead when I need it. So I bought this this splitter to go with a solar powered battery tender that will keep the battery topped off at all times , so when I need the generator to start, it will. 5 stars all the way!

I ride in all kinds of weather, wet, cold, hot, dry etc. Accordingly, I'll add & use a variety of accessories requiring power. Some of these are occasional and do not warrant permanent wiring. This adapter allows me to simply plug in whatever I may want to use like a heated suit for cold weather. Other times I may want a cellphone charger or a fan or music item plugged in. Sometimes I use it with a light. This permits two plug-ins to be used simultaneously. The current/power rating is sufficient for everything that I may plug in at the same time so overload is not an issue. The plugs each come with an attached cap to seal off when not in use. Wet weather will not impact use as the caps seal when not in use and the polarized plugs likewise seal when in use. SO HANDY that I bought two, one as a spare if I lose mine by setting it down when removing.

Work great on my Harley to plug into the factory plug and add a phone charge cord to the handle bars leaving a plug open to still charge the bike if needed or add another accessory

They connected my trickle chargers to my two bikes and the batteries are still going strong after two years, I was a little worried about one trickle charger for two bikes but no problem.

I did use it to connect my heating seat on my snowmobile. After I had modified it to the heated seat connector, I realized that it does not connect properly. I am left with 3mm gap in the connections after forcing them in like crazy. Also, the chunk in the middle connecting wires together is big and interferes under the passenger seat. One thing going for it: 14 gauge wire is real.
