I love this sugar it's delicious, I would give it 5 stars but I discovered that seeds got possibly grounded in the sugar after I baked some muffins,it tasted like there's sand in it. So the manufacturer should be mindful of that.

I know that people use dates as desserts and dress them up in chocolate, peanut butter, the works.. so I knew this would be a healthy alternative to processed white sugar and would work well in baking. To anyone wondering, the stuff that is left over at the bottom of your drinks (which this product clearly states that it does not dissolve) is fiber from the fruit itself. Pros 1. I like that it's organic and Non-Gmo 2. It's not processed, just ground up dates 3. Not overly sweet 4. No after taste Cons 1. Even though the ratio is 1:1 with sugar, you have to add less flour otherwise the baked goods are a bit dense. 2. It IS a fiber fruit at the end of the day, so do not use eat too much.

Substituted white sugar for date sugar (be sure to read the ratio for substitution on the package) in an applesauce snack cake for my son. HE said it tasted even better! And I feel better knowing hes getting some nutrient as well. Pairs very well with desserts made with apples.... Going to try oatmeal cookies and banana bread next. Pricey, but all healthier food is.... it seems...

Wonderful product. Natural sweetener that is good for you. I buy lots of this to make date sweetened chocolate. Almost everyone I give it to loves the chocolate and I eat it myself every day. Does not dissolve well in liquid but you can use date syrup for that.

I had Royal palm date sugar before but thought it was this one. This product has a ton of filler in it - or something - it leaves particles in the bottom of your cup whether the drink is hot or cold. It is actually quite gross and there is no return option. I won’t be purchasing this brand again.
