So good!
These lids are awesome! They make my 28oz hydro flask tumblers go from morning coffee to afternoon electrolyte drinks perfectly. The cardboard wrapper has instructions inside for washing. The slider comes out really easily and snaps right back in place. No funky gunky junk in your coffee lid!!!! I hand wash these to avoid and dishwasher damage. They wash really easily and quickly. The fit is tight without fighting them in or out. I don’t know if they would survive a drop or topple without spilling but there’s zero sloshing or spilling when the dogs jostle me. I love how this makes my favorite tumblers more versatile.

Happy to find this here!
This is the perfect replacement for the original lid to my tumbler. I didn't think to look for a replacement cap when my original was lost. I had been using my tumbler without one until I stumbled on this one. My original cap didn't have a slider, so I am happy to have that feature now. The cap fits and works as well as you would expect it to since it's made by Hydro Flask. If there were colors other than black, I'd have ordered a couple of them!

tight seal for 22oz Hydroflask tumbler
Seal: this is a nice, tight seal for the 22oz Hydroflask tumbler. It's so tight that I can cover the hole with my finger and shake the hell out of this to mix my iced concoctions, then simply insert the straw part. Caution: it is so tight that if you fill it kinda near the top, you'll splodge out your drink if you attempt to put on the lid with the straw already attached. As others have advised, put on the lid alone first so the air has someplace to escape, then insert the straw at the end. Et voila. Plastic straw replacement: out of curiosity, I tried inserting the straw that came with my off-brand double-walled thermoses that come in a two-pack from Costco (you know, the ones with the two different types of lids) and find that those fit perfectly. Fall test: I dropped it just once to date, and it didn't break. BUT, it's probably because my tumbler itself hit the concrete, not the top part. I suspect the ones that broke maybe took the brunt--either that or the little tab part that sticks out happened to hit the ground and sheared off at that point.

Bought slider and straw lids, nice but…
Nice slider lid, fits my 22 Oz Congela mug nicely. Slips in easily, which made me think it wouldn’t stay in at first, but it’s tight, and harder to pull out. I like how it doesn’t overhang the lip of the mug, and is flush. The rounded inner lip is nice and nothing like using the squared off inner lip so many lids have. The drinking hole is plenty large. Bigger than most other lids. However, even with the slider closed, in a tip over, it leaks like a sieve around the slider. Not a any kind of a seal. I guess it works just to stop a flood pouring out. It doesn’t leak around the rim of the mug, good seal there. Since I only use my mug around the house, I took the slider off. Also without the slider, there’s more room for my nose, and I don’t have to tilt my head so far back. Overall it’s a nice lid, comfortable to use, but I wouldn’t use it as a travel lid. Also bought a straw lid. It’s also a good fit to my Congela 22oz mug, BUT, be careful pushing it on, it will shoot hot coffee out the straw. And as others said you have to make sure you align the vent hole in the straw gasket to the notch in the lid, but it doesn’t stop coffee spewing out the straw. The insulation really does help keep coffee hot longer.

I actually bought this for my Ember mug as the one Ember sells is overpriced, breaks easy, and isn't as good as this one overall. For anyone else with ember mugs, this will help keep your drinks warm for longer, and battery life running longer too as heat isn't escaping as easily

I had the hydroflask all around tumbler 20oz and it fits perfectly! I cant say for the smaller size for sure because with the 20oz it’s already a little too tight. Glad i found it! makes drinking easier.

As the footage demonstrates, the HYDRO FLASK Medium Closeable Press-In Lid [CPLM001] fits snugly on the beautiful STANLEY Adventure Stacking Beer Pint 16oz tumbler even without the rubber gasket. With the (inverted or non-inverted) modded rubber gasket, the lid is held very securely in place, and it actually takes a bit of force to mount the lid fully, leaving no gaps, or to unmount it. The retail package states that the lid is neither leak-proof nor spill-proof. However, the lid could be called splash-resistant. Important to note, this modded lid does not work with a boiling/steaming hot beverage in the STANLEY tumbler because the heat causes the gasket to expand and eventually the lid to get unmounted, pushed out, pushed off. Yet for all other intents and purposes, i can highly recommend the modded lid to be used with the STANLEY tumbler: it provides a more comfortable drinking experience than the double lip (plastic+steel) of the Kleen Kanteen Tumbler Lid , and with the slider closed, the beverage is given better insulation and containment. I must admit though that the slider requires good finger force to get going, is not very easy to operate, thus not suitable for small children imho. Btw a 100.00% leak-proof press-in lid would be insecure, holding a steaming hot or a carbonated beverage, because of the pressure build-up: to withstand such pressure, the lid and the vessel would have to come with threads (threaded screw-on lid!), but then you wouldn't regard or use the vessel as solo tumbler or standalone glass anymore or would you. Bottom line is, all press-in lids on the market (YETI, KLEAN KANTEEN, HYDRO FLASK, STANLEY, etc) must have a vent hole. And that's where the liquid would leak, given a rough ride in the car, see by the end of the footage.

So, a while back I bought the 650ml Hydro Flask tumbler because I prefer that shape over a bottle. Except, the included lid has two gaping holes in it, making it a thoroughly impractical water container for the vast majority of people on earth day to day. Which led me to look for this lid as an alternative. I thought it'd be ideal, given that it's advertised as "closeable". It however is NOT, because when the lid is slid closed, there is STILL a hole in the lid for lord knows what reason, I guess the slight offchance of a vacuum forming is of greater concern to Hydro Flask than not spilling your drink everywhere or being able to put it in a bag or carry it anywhere. £10 for a lid that doesn't even serve the purpose of a lid? Absolute joke, I won't be buying anything from Hydro Flask in the future.
