Great value and quality
Great non-stick pan. I've had the smaller size Rio of this same pan for nearly a year and it has worked very well. I typically cook large amounts of meat or vegetables at one time with this pan for meal prep and it does great. You do have to keep the temperature at medium or lower or else the non-stick doesn't work quite as well because it is a ceramic pan. Other than that there have been no issues. Good durability, very easy to wash and I expect it will last for several years.

The best nonstick pan I've ever owned.
Good reviews I saw on YouTube caused me to order this GreenPan Rio 12 inch frying pan. Out of eight or more nonstick pans I've owned, this is by far the best. The instructions say to clean with a sponge and use nothing abrasive. I was skeptical but it proved to be true. No matter what I cook, I can clean the pan in a few seconds with a soft sponge and water. Brown burns that I would be a struggle to scrub off of other pans, slide right off this pan. I like ground turkey. Problem is with other pans including other nonstick pans, the ground turkey would brown and stay stuck to the pan when I flipped the patty over. Using this GreenPan I can easily cook browned turkey patties that look appetizing. I tried cooking some corned beef hash. It browned and tasted better than any I've cooked before. Then all the hash slid out of the pan and I was able to clean up with a sponge and water in a few seconds. I paid $80 for one of the new Titanium pans. It is beutiful but I don't use it. I much prefer to cook with the GreePan brand pan. It makes cooking and cleaning so effortless.

Amazing non-stick skillet, but it came slightly damaged
Bought this because my only good skillet broke bad. I immediately used it this evening to make some hamburger helper for dinner. I walked away for a few minutes and forgot about it simmering. Came back and nothing was sticking to the skillet, not even a little bit. With my old skillet, not stirring for even a minute and stuff is baked onto the bottom so bad that only soaking it in boiling water will get it off. Deducting a star because the rim was already chipped when it came, but it's not such a big deal as to render the skillet unusable

Best Ceramic Frying Pan
Great Ceramic Frying pan. Nothing sticks and i mean nothing. This is my favorite pan and i love knowing i replaced my unhealthy old frying pan with this one. I plan on buying more from GreenPan. Heat distributes evenly and you hardly need butter or olive oil. A little goes a long way. Do yourself a favor and buy it.

Very disappointing performance
I can't imagine why this pan gets such positive reviews. The first time I used it, it worked fine. Pancakes came out easily and pan wiped clean with a soft scrubbing pad. Great! Enthusiastic, I decided to cook some falafel patties. I had carefully read Greenpan's instructions to use a little oil with a high smoke point. I used avocado. Then I let the pan sit on medium heat for about five minutes while I formed my patties. To my great dismay, the pan had developed black speckles (see picture 1). No problem, I thought, I'll just wipe it out with a paper towel. Well that wasn't happening. So I put a little dish soap in the pan and scrubbed it with my "non-stick" scrubby. I scrubbed for ten minutes. No improvement. So I followed Greenpan's instructions to fill the pan half way with water and a squirt of dish soap and put it on the stove to boil on low heat. After the water came up to boiling, I turned off the heat and left the pan to cool. Then I tried scrubbing again. With much effort, I finally got the speckles out of the pan. Thinking this must have been my fault for pre-heating too long, I returned to cooking the falafel patties. Again, I used a little avocado oil and medium heat. As you can see from the second picture, the pan began to form a yellow coating as the patties cooked. The last picture shows the pan after scrubbing again. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I had planned on reducing my oil use to cut some calories. But my cast iron pans have never required this level of effort to clean, and I have found that I can minimize my oil use in the cast iron by spritzing the pan with a mist after adding a half teaspoon of oil. Unfortunately, to add insult to injury, I invested in $40 of non-stick utensils. The pan is going back of course, together with the utensils I didn't open. If you're still inspired to buy the pan after reading this review, at least do yourself a favor and wait before buying any special utensils.
